TopCBDSpain - My Pet Project

I haven't left you guys, I smashed on with a Black Friday deal, so I won't be gone for at least a year..or more, I realize that we have very good hosting here too included in the price, and good hosting ain't cheap.
+ ofc everything else, this is a fantastic place to be.
I needed to learn some more
I have been concentrating the last week on learning me some more Wordpress skills, and I am totally blown away about how easy everything has become, you can even automate it all.
Remember I am an old coder used to HTML, Java & JavaScript.
Wordpress is completely new to me, but I feel I am learning it very quickly, probably because of my computer comprehension in total.
These themes and plugins just make it a breeze.
So I created something
I wanted to learn about automation, I just love to automate things.
I made a news-site about CBD, Hemp & Cannabis, you all know that is my business by now I guess, mostly hydro systems.
Anyway, I ended up with TopCBDSpain as a test site... I actually think I have made it pretty nice to be a new (old) beginner.
It automatically fetches news from YouTube and whatever site I wish really at the interval I want, all automatic.
I have made a FB page also to it, TopCBDSpain, and tomorrow my mission is to set up an automatic feed of my posts to this FB page
(I will make it post automatically to Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Linkedin & probably a couple more similar sites)
I am done now
Coming back to WA now next week to continue my learning, I am just done with most of the web page stuff, now its about making Money my next lesson in module 3 Entrepreneurs,
I just felt I needed some more technical skills before going further, and it feels good, I know very much better what I am doing overall now.
I feel more confident, I have to admit I was a little lost a while in the training.
Plugins and Themes for WordPress
About Plugins and Themes...almost everyone of them is released under GNU GPL (Public license, open source, meaning anyone who have bought it can sell it further)
So there are many sites doing this, I signed up at wpstarterpack for lifetime access to hundreds of Premium Themes and Plugins for 43€.
It is 100% legal, the ethics of it may be another thing, but they have released it that way, so they should have expected it, tough many are mad at these sites and calling them scammers.They ain't scammers, the once saying that just don't know better, read the GNU Public License yourself if you don't believe me
.

I love CBD as you know and also like your site but there is a big but.
You are not supposed to put the link to your website in your WA post. Google and the rest of the world see it and it is considered self-promotion. In comments, it is neither a good idea, you better PM your link to people you know and trust.
When you write a WA post you are allowed to put the link of one of your other WA posts and also an outside link if it helps to explain what you are talking about.

Oh...I really should read the guidelines better...I didn't think it was bad posting your own site, I know affiliate links are bad..but didn't know this. Thx for the heads-up.
It can be a little hard not to actually if you are talking with people in here, I mean that's what we are doing here, building these sites and businesses..how to do it without showing and talking about it?
Most of the traffic I got yesterday was not from here anyway, I posted this well after getting over 500 visitors, so where they came from I am not sure.
I see only one was from A-Ads actually, some from my FB referrals, but the majority of them I don`t know...Direct Traffic?
I am a little grumpy now, so I`ll rant on about another thing I am not happy about at all...It`s the "Site Feedback" here...
To me, it has absolutely no value whatsoever, If I want to get Feedback I want to get it from my target audience, not some random person who is not interested in my niche.

Site Feedback can be good but it is not always. I also have mixed feelings about that. I will not change my style after having my 2 sister sites for 3 years. When somebody does not like it I think, oh well, you cannot please everybody.

Argh, Facebook ofc won`t open my ads account again yet...well, let them have it...I`ll do with all the sources there are for free traffic, there actually is some.
(And rather use someone not so unreasonable as FB if I am paying for traffic, I am not promoting anything illegal, but FB see it that way)

The cool thing about them is you can sponsor others' ads and vice-versa, check it out, that's what's bringing me random traffic for free.
(I am an affiliate there, but it's not an affiliate link, I know that's not allowed here and I won`t use WA for promoting) :)
FB Ads closed me down because I was not in accordance with their Policy on Sex & Nudity...I still don`t understand it, but I do understand it must be that they are so against cannabis.
I think the answer they gave me when I complained was a very smug one!

All ad accounts are evaluated for policy compliance and quality of ad content. Due to your ad account consistently promoting ads that don't comply with our Advertising Policies or other standards, the ad account has been disabled.

*And this, it was the very first time in my life I tried to make an ad, that got rejected, so it`s a complete lie, they really do what they want, there is nothing consistent about one Ad that got rejected:
"Due to your ad account consistently promoting ads that don't comply with our Advertising Policies or other standards, the ad account has been disabled"
With time becoming a scarce resource by the day, automation would be the way to go. Your test site is amazing!

Maybe I should tell you all this and not just as an answer below;
I knew there was something wrong...wp automatic wouldn't post here...the last posts I have pushed out manually, and that's because WA`s servers won`t allow us such automation.
I guess it is because you can cache a lot and use much space and resources on the server.
(I am not doing that though, I only store text and thumbnails on the server, not videos...but I could, so that's why WA don`t allow it I reckon)
So don`t try those auto tools on the WA server, won`t work.
I am gonna try a grueling change back to Namecheap`s Stellar hosting again...I had so much trouble there with SSL and DNS that I had to give up (and so did Namecheap`s support, nothing we did worked)
It`s worth another try tough, got a 50gb SSD space there...I got a tip to pair it with a free version of Cloudflare to take care of my DNS/SSL problems.
Oh dear me, please excuse. I have been here for 3 years but there are many things in your 2 comments I have no idea about. I am not technical at all and that is the reason I do not understand. Anyhow, I hope you will get it all sorted out.

Well, it's all good now on Namecheap`s server, and I found a solution to the broken video link issue as well...happy day!

You are ofc right, one cannot blindly trust in these tools..and as I said last time the link actually worked even though it showed a black screen on my website, so a tool might verify that as non-broken.
I guess it will have to be a mix of auto and manual....I wouldn't have any chance to run such a site without automation.
(It would at least be a full-time job and then some)
