Inspiration for Blog Posts

I'm constantly thinking of new ideas for blog posts. From the minute I get up I'm trying to think of witty humor and the perfect wording for my content.
Then I get the "aha" moment where I've thought of the witty humor and perfectly worded content and I'm nowhere near the computer, or a pen and paper. I try desperately to remember all that I've come up with as I race to the nearest computer.
By the time I sit down to type I've forgotten most of what I had come up with. The words are not flowing onto the screen the same way as they did in my head. I try going back to the place the inspiration occured to see if I can capture it again but it has escaped me.

As I lay in bed many hours later I think of more witty humor and perfectly worded paragraphs. Before I think any further I race to the computer to write all I thought of.
It is making me afraid to be very far from the computer or pen and paper because I never know where the moment of inspiration will hit and I don't want that perfect blog post to be gone forever.
Does anyone else suffer from this from time to time?
All the best,
Erin
