I am trying to define my niche, from which I have several choices. Although they are all somewhat intimate to me personally, I wonder if this would bring more harm than benefit
Hmm. Difficult one. It depends what Kyle and other directors think. Depends what side of the debate they are on.
As it is their company you have to abide by what they decide as they may want to have a certain image for their website which is not conducive to include drugs. I personally do not take drugs but in my youth I was given some Marijuanna at a party and it made me feel pretty good. This was 43 years ago. Since I do not hang around with people who smoke drugs I did not have it again (there are many things that I do that make me feel happy and give me a high - like Salsa Dancing. Try it).
Personally I think that as long as they are doing no harm to anyone (i.e people who smoke pot) why shouldn't they smoke cannibis. Unfortunately cannibis has a stigma in certain parts of the world of being a bad thing, a bit like sex which in certain countries has a reputation of being bad and dirty by people who popped out of a certain party of someone's anatomy after this act was performed. Possibly something they do or did not enjoy.
However cannibis has some health as well but some people do not look at it that way.
Personally I would allow a website like this as long as it is being acted on ethically like any other website on the WA platform but at the end of the day it depends on Kyle and the other owners.
Just my two cents.

Thanks Aubrey, I appreciate that you took the time to add "your two cents" worth.
My angle was a site where people could discuss the medicinal values they found in certain strains and the like.
It's still, agreeably, a bit of a hot potato and have chosen food and travel for my first blog. I have travelled extensively during my career as an Executive Chef and using these two together ideally will draw attention to my site.

Do be aware that your website will be seen worldwide, and marijuana is banned in many countries. And it will be classed as an adult site, so you will need an age verification gateway to ensure those under age can't see it. And as an adult site, many affiliate programs won't allow you to join.
