Top 200?!? How? - New Year's Update!
Howdy everyone,
Just logged in to check on my WA account today and I noticed thatI am now ranked within the top 200! I have no idea how that happened, as my activity has not been more than usual. But it's a wonderful surprise! I might as well take the time to share how the last few months oflife have been.
In a word: challenging. Being free from the thing we're being mandated to take while in Canada is a real hassle. Mostly because it has been difficult to find a job in which the employer isn't complying with the mandate. But I stand with medical feedom and no one will ever get me to bend the knee on that. I'm a scientist, talking television heads can't BS me. But more so than that, I'm a Christian so I believe that our rights come from God, not the government. This includes the right to choose what medical procedures to concent to and reject. Coercion is not consent.
On that note, another big change in my life is that I have become a follower of Jesus. Born again, really. This was years in the making - the final nudge I needed was meeting a true Christian who wasn't afraid of tackling the difficult questions with me. Which finally happened about two months ago.
My new friend and I got to talking and asking questions; Who is God? How do we know Him? What is good and evil? and What did Jesus do for us? Among many many others. We've had dozens of hours of philosophical and theological conversations - truly energizing.
This rebirth in Christ has, naturally, changed my writing. My original blog, dedicated to self-improvement, has now pivoted towards Christian-based self-improvement. The last few articles I've written have thrown the search algorithms a huge curve ball, so my traffic is suffering. I just can't write about self-improvement without writing about Christ!
The original goal of my website was to give people true information which they could use to make better choices. Christ is the truth. This is becoming more and more clear as we see our institutions revealed to be the corrupt entities into which they've degerated.
So now I'm left with a choice. Keep the blog going but swtich to a Christian lens on my content or start something new. I've been debating with myself about this and have yet to reach a decision.
Do y'all have any ideas?
God bless you and Happy New Year!
Erick

Btw, I stand with you on that unknown thing going into the skin!
Hi Jeff! I had a feeling I'd be seeing a supportive comment of yours on this post. Thanks for your continued encouragement and for everything you've done for the USA. It means a lot to me to have your support.
I keep asking Him for directions and he keeps guiding me true, so I'm going to keep on doing just that! It has been a trip so far and I'm excited to see where it goes!
Happy 2022 to you!
Erick
Thank you for your kind sentiments, Erick!
I'm very pleased for you with the decision that you have made, and you will be all the more successful for doing it too!
With God as your co-pilot, the sky is the limit, my friend!

Hi Erick,
Congrats on making the top 200. I am a religious person as well, but I don't push my beliefs publicly. It is a private matter between me and the lord above.
I am also vaxed and boosted. My belief is that I don't have the right to take another persons life by spreading Covid. I still wear a mask in crowded areas to avoid spreading it to others, if I happen to be carrying the virus. It is a moral obligation, rather than a right. I do it because I feel it is the right thing to do.
My idea for helping you with your situation would be to cerate a second Christian site to help get the religious word out. I think that preaching to people who are not there to hear religion, would drive them away. It is all about being RELEVANT, nothing more.
I hope that helps.

Hi Chas, thanks for your candor and being open about your experience. The reason I refuse to adhere to the restrictions and mandates is because there is so much evidence saying that at best they don't work and at worst they are hurtful to individuals and society. For example, asymptomatic transmission, the justification for masking, physical distancing and lockdowns, has been proven to be a myth. This was published a year ago in a leading scientific journal. I'm a healthy adult, I know I am, I feel it. Why am I being treated like I'm a threat to others? This fear divides us, and erodes trust, the foundation of healthy societies. It's being driven by the propagandistic, psuedoscientific media which is divorced from reality.
I understand you care for others and want to protect them but death happens. If we allow fear to drive us to protect ourselves from every threat, real or imagined, we end up in an impenetrable fortress, cut off from God and each other.
2 Timothy 1:7 "For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control."
I became a Christian 2 months ago. The way it happened was through social media. I kept encountering posts that talked about Jesus and the Bible. It made me uncomfortable to read them, but I kept at it because I was being convicted. Had the creators of those posts not been bold in their faith and unafraid to make me uncomfortable, I wouldn't have come to Christ, because I would have kept seeking what was comfortable and ignoring the gospel. I would have remained captive to sin.
That's why I am now writing about Christ in my posts. I know I'll drive some people away doing so, but if I can plant seeds of faith in some people's hearts, then I'll know I'm serving God. What else matters?
Thanks again for your input Chas and for remaining respectful. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hi Erick,
A friend of mine's wife died three weeks ago from Covid, now he is in the hospital on a ventilator. Both refused to get the vaccine, now one is dead, maybe he will die as well.
If nobody took any vaccines, the world would still be dealing with the crippling disease of polio.
It was eradicated, because people took the vaccine.
The end of this pandemic will not come until everyone has immunity. Herd immunity will kill millions unnecessarily.
The vaccine is the best weapon we have, next to wearing a mask.
To love someone is to care about them, and their health.
If you went to have surgery, and all the doctors decided to not wear their masks, you would most likely die of severe infection.
Masks are a major factor in keeping you from getting infected in the operating room. Masks and vaccinations are far from a myth.
God gave you a free will to make your decisions, to sin or not is up to us. It is a choice. Committing suicide is a sin.
Respectfully,
Chas
