Understanding The Online Marketing Industry and why 95% Struggle.

There is no doubt the online marketing Industry is a life changing business model, but do we understand it? Well, i have decided to educate my self about it, enrolled into a short course and i will be sharing some nuggets. For starters, What is this Industry all about?

1. This is a Personal Development, leadership and VALUE Industry, disguised as a Business

2. People buy into people, people buy from people they know, like and trust

3. This is not a Features and Benefits Industry - Its dream driven. People buy into their dreams and the value you offer.

4. The way to make Money in this industry is to give Value and leadership.

5. When on Social media, the moment you start describing features and benefits (product, the company, the comp plan, the leaders or even your self) you will start receiving a "PUSH BACK" people will start avoiding you.

6. You are not the front man, you are the point man. You simply give the prospect the correct information and get out of their way to make their decision.

7. Prospects don't care how much you know until they see how much you care.

8. People love to buy, but hate being sold to, don't pitch, market a solution, refer them to our opportunity to solve their pain/problem.

9. This industry is a JOURNEY of you going from where you are right now to the person with the MESSAGE (Like what am doing right now - am delivering a message about this Industry).

10. Here are the two types of people who join this Industry;

√ People in a transition - people going through a change in their lives - people looking for a change in their lives.

√ People join this Industry on an Emotional basis, not Logical.

*Lastly* This is an Attraction Marketing Industry - People should be coming to you because they either see VALUE in you or Leadership in you.

*Time to change our mindsets, relearn what we knew and Understand this Industry.*
