Busy busy busy!

I know I have not been around as much on WA recently, but a few things have happened recently that made me realise that life brings you unexpected things sometimes.

I started WA in January and can say that being here has taught me so much! I now have a lovely site up and running that is filling up gradually, although not as quickly as I had planned it to be.

My workload has really picked up over the past few months, so my WA lessons have had to be shelved, however I still manage to create new web posts to keep things ticking over. I have not make any money from the site as yet, but I am hoping that will change once the site becomes more 'mature' in the eyes of Google et al.

Another thing that happened is that I lost my dad in May. He was 83 and had some minor health issues, but nothing that would have made our family worried. Now I know that 83 is not a bad innings for an OAP, but his death was still unexpected.

His passing has made me realise just how fleeting life can actually be, and that we are all striving to better our lives so much that sometimes we forget to stop and appreciate what we have right now, at this present time.

So, although the time for New Year resolutions have long since passed for this year, I am actually making a 'half-year' resolution in June to be more mindful.

This is now my half-year motto: Deep happiness cannot exist without slowing down to enjoy the joy....
