First Month At WA

I fell across Wealthy Affiliate by chance.

Once I started reading about it, I thought "why not?" and I gave it a go.

Now, one month later, from starting off as knowing nothing regarding building websites, blogging and affiliate marketing, I am still here. Not only am I still here, I have my own website! I actually managed!

I have had my set backs - it took me ages to find a niche. The community helped by throwing thoughts and ideas my way. I think finding a niche may be (at least so far) one of the more difficult parts - one tends to overthink. Just let it come to you - you are in no hurry so wait until you find an area you really love. Then came keywords - fun research.

Next, building my website, I went through different themes everyday.I lost pages, I found them, I lost posts, I found them - I lost my header image (I never found that!). Once again, the community came to help, and, I did it. I have a website! It is no where near perfect but I hope I can get there.

I have a long way to go but I am really enjoying the learning - if my site earns something, that will be great, but if not, the ride was really worth it. I feel my success has been in just getting to where I am today.

Just a final note, trying to think of an niche for a second site........here we go again!
