Sure, you have limited access with your free starter account, but go through the available training and learn as much as you can. When you're ready, upgrading to Premium will unlock all the core training and upgrading to Premium Plus+ unlocks even more like a ton of expert classes. :) Enjoy the free starter account!

The short answer is, yes you will need to upgrade. However, once you do and continue in your training, the cost seems to be irrelevant because of the amount of training access you have at your fingertips.
I was a Free Starter Member for an entire month before I upgraded to Premium. There was no Premium Plus back then. The basic premium account is more than enough to bring you success, you can upgrade later if you want.
