This is going to be my final blog post on Wealthy Affiliate as a Premium member. My next post will be after I upgrade to Premium Plus!

Starter And Monthly Premium Members
I'm using this opportunity to talk to starter members who can't afford to upgrade to Premium Plus, and are wondering if it makes sense to pay the $299 for the Premium upgrade.
This message is also for existing Premium members who are paying $49 monthly and also can't afford the $499 for the upgrade to the Premium Plus annual plan.
My response is it absolutely makes sense to upgrade to the annual Premium membership plan if you currently can't afford Premium Plus.

My Path To The Premium Annual Upgrade
At Thanksgiving 2019 I was a Premium member on the monthly plan. I had all the intentions to take advantage of the last offer for the annual $299 Premium Plan.
I procrastinated and didn't. The deadline passed. I had a feeling of emptiness that I had missed out on an opportunity that was lost forever. When my renewal date arrived in December, I did so at the Premium full-price annual plan.
In March 2020 I got a big surprise. Wealthy Affiliate offered the $299 plan again! This final offer for Premium as it existed back then was made prior to the launch of Premium Plus. I jumped at the upgrade and never looked back.
Going on either of the annual plans inoculates you from feeling the pressure to cancel when hard times strike. At that time, March 2020, I didn't get a prorated bill. Instead, my annual renewal date for $299 was extended to March 2022!
I have enjoyed being a Premium member immensely. Even though I couldn't experience the features and benefits of Premium Plus. My thinking was this.
Perhaps there would be a Black Friday deal at Thanksgiving. In 2020, there was none. Hence, I felt relieved that at least I was on the annual Premium plan.
Premium Helped Me Turn My Business Around
Fast forward to 2021. I thought Wealthy Affiliate would make a special offer for the Premium Plus plan. I was totally surprised to see the $299 for Premium back again.
If you're a starter member, or a Premium member paying monthly, now is your opportunity to grab that $299 plan. You will not regret it. Not everyone can afford $499. So it is totally understandable to take the amazing annual Premium offer.
My business earned me more than enough in 2021 to invest in the Premium Plus annual discounted plan. I fondly remember how important the Premium Program helped me to turn my business around. And it will for you too.
When it does, watch out for the next Black Friday offer to invest your earnings to upgrade to Premium Plus. The future is full of choice and opportunity. Seize it.
And no, I am not going to stop blogging on Wealthy Affiliate. My next blog post will be as a proud Premium Plus member!

I've been thinking of doing the same, I have 2 days 14 hrs to decide. I may wait until next year and remain premium for now.
Not sure how it would work since I already renewed during Black Friday, I'd have to ask Kyle I guess, it would be $200 more.

Hi John,
Your situation is similar to mine. Except you just upgraded to the $299 Premium Deal in 2021.
Try this and see if it works. Click the upgrade to Premium Plus link. Then click the upgrade to Premium Plus button. You should see a $299 credit applied because of your recent upgrade. As Andy stated, you should only be charged $200.
If you have PayPal Credit and have over $200 available to you in credit, select the PayPal option and fill in your PayPal Email address to proceed, if you do not already have it in the system.
The Premium Plus Deal is so good you cannot go wrong. Go for it John!

Yes, I pay using PayPal Credit each year with auto-billing.
But, I wasn't certain how it works since I already paid this year.

Yeah, everyone had their own choice but depending upon their financial situations. like me, if I had enough savings, I must choose the premium plus because there are lots of bonuses and additional training that can be avail in premium plus compared to premium only. like the alphabet soup X, this is is absolutely helpful for creating your niche and domain name.

Indeed you did get me! However, I thought there must be a catch as you had upgraded to Premium plus!
I agree with you regarding upgrading to the premium membership if you want to move forward you need to invest! However, at the same time, I think it's fantastic that Wealthy Affiliate allows you to test the system for free. To me, this is like a guarantee that the system works!
I must admit I was already making money online when I joined Wealthy Affiliate seven years ago today. However, I really like the idea of having a platform of like-minded people around me. So, I upgraded to premium immediately as I could see the numerous benefits.
Of course, premium plus membership has even more benefits. Although, the premium membership is more than enough for people to get started and make a full-time living online.

Glad to hear from you. My playful post got the response I had hoped.
You are right that the Premium Plan can get members to a profitable position. All the current Super Affiliates made it with the current Premium plan.
My wish is that I can learn from the experts now only what I must do but also what NOT to do. And the souped-up tools will definitely provide an advantage.
There were two additional reasons that persuaded me to upgrade. The Black Friday offer. And the thought of so many of my friend's upgrading would make me feel left out.

Thank you, Edwin, I appreciate your blog posts. It's amazing the reaction that a blog title can bring!
That's very true about the standard premium plan, many members have become highly successful. The only downside could be with the premium plan is that there is so much information, some members could possibly become sidetracked or suffer from information overload. I appreciate there is a plan put in place to help every member move forward with the various classes.
I agree with you, we can learn so much from the experts, people who have learnt from experience. And we can learn from their mistakes, as you rightly mention.
I upgraded to Premium plus I guess around a year ago or more or less when premium plus first arrived. As you mentioned, there is more than enough at the premium level to become successful. However, I have really enjoyed listening to many of the super affiliate members that have become successful, through Wealthy Affiliate. It's actually quite humbling to listen to their experience and how they have grown their business.
Please don't get me wrong, Kyle's teaching is absolutely fantastic and I thoroughly enjoy it. However, having successful members produce training and webinars is also fantastic and adds an added dimension to the training.
The Black Friday offer really was an excellent deal an offer not to be missed! The original premium plus deal was considerably more. I am really pleased that you have been able to upgrade to premium plus, a great decision!

WOW Edwin, you had me going for a minute with that title! Congrats on your determination to continually grow. I too have written my last post as a premium member.
I feels great to know that I have removed a monthly obligation and granted myself the gift of more advanced training and offerings.
