How I Found WA

It was by pure chance that I found WA. Or more accurately WA found me through my sponsor Tim McKinlay. I was checking our reviews on a financial service company and left a comment. Tim happened to have seen it and contacted me. He has been a fantastic mentor and guided me Enter your own correction... I needed help. It has been about six weeks since I joined. My experience has been full of wonder. I shall be completing Level 2 tonight. One of my activities is to create a blog about my progress. So where do I begin?

My Sunset Years

I took the sunset you see above when my wife and I were on our 35th Anniversary cruise in the Caribbean. This view was from our stateroom balcony on the Atlantic Ocean. The dark area is the ocean with the horizon just below the setting sun. Normally I see sunsets like this on the Pacific since I live on the West Coast. It was sheer delight to have been on the Atlantic to see this sunset.

Achievements to Date

Within this short period I have:

• My very own niche website on my own domain
• Optimized my website for SEO
• Grasped the process of creating content
• Created several pages of content that are starting to get ranked
• A foundation for a long term, and successful business in place
• More KNOWLEDGE than 99% of my competition :)

Another tangible achievement is making connections with other like-minded individuals in WA. I am striving to be an Ambassador by being active on this platform. There is a lot to learn.

Challenges

Who loves a challenge? I think all of us here do, otherwise we wouldn't be here. One of my unmet goals was to create a successful online business presence.

There are myriads of individuals who need access to affordable legal advice and services. My job is simple. I want to connect those who need this affordable service with a company that provides it. I then need to teach others who see the benefits to do the same. We all benefit not only from getting peace of mind but also in getting paid. It may be simple but it is not easy. At my age I want to leverage my time efficiently. WA seems to provide the tools and training to do precisely that. I love it!

I am a slow learner. Nothing has come easy to me. I get confused very easily. It takes me more time than most to find and understand solutions to the problems I face. The beauty of the training here is I can progress at my own pace. And I can repeat the lessons and videos to fully understand the concepts behind the lessons.

Want to know I trick I use? I have a iMac and a second monitor. When I watch a training video where I need to take action, for example in the use of WordPress, I have the video playing on my iMac. I have my Dashboard open on my monitor. When Kyle tells me what I need to do I pause the video and do what I was shown right away. Earlier in my training I tried to remember these actions or read the script to remind me. I found that watching the videos in this way works best for me. I forget easily so this is a great solution. Does anyone else do this?

Success requires hard, consistent work. That is what I am doing. I expect the success I seek to be a by product of my efforts.
