My Latest Blog Post Got Indexed In A Few Hours

Hi Friends,

I recently said I would not be posting as much on WA. However, my latest blog got indexed within a few hours on Google. I am going to keep this short and sweet by pointing out a few characteristics of this blog. I don't have too much time so be warned, I'm not going to add pretty pictures like I usually do.

You may be wondering what in heavens name does this cover photo got to do with my post. It has everything to do with it as the title will affirm:

5 Powerful Ways To Use Leverage In Affiliate Marketing.

1) I broke the rules in Keyword Research as the keyword, "Ways To Use Leverage In Affiliate Marketing" yielded the following result:

I used it anyway as I wanted to add the number 5 at the beginning to make it stand out. Another reason was in my previous blog I brought up the topic of leveraging. And the Bootcamp lesson had an exercise to link a keyword in a new blog. I decided to use Leverage.

2) Now to the picture. In order to provide a visual aid on leverage I used the example of using a wrench to loosen the nuts to remove a wheel on a car. Get it? When I put the term wrench into the search this was one of the pictures that came up. So why not use it?

3) The 5 forms of leverage I brought up were:

Time Leverage

Manpower Leverage

Affiliate Marketplace Leverage

Ad Leverage

Multiple Website Leverage

Importance Of This Order

The order of this list was important as each one builds on the other. Most of our initial activity building up organic traffic is on Time Leverage. In a perfect world I believe that we should not move forward to the others until we have enough money to outsource the mundane tasks to give us time to devote to the more valuable tasks.

Now we have the best chance of driving sufficient traffic to justify applying to Affiliate Marketplaces like ShareASale, Clickbank and CJ Affiliate. The chances of getting approval for their merchants will be much higher.

This may take a year or more but in the long run this should be more beneficial and sustainable.

Longer Term Activities

The last two I feel are best used for amplifying our results to a much higher income level. I am talking about 5 figures a month. Hence, the time period could well be several years after you begin this journey.

There Is No Hard And Fast Rule For This

After studying how other affiliate marketers have created hugely successful businesses, I found this as the most common approach used.

The only reason we want to jump to ads is the illusion of earning money faster. Yes that may be possible, but will you earn enough to continue that process? For some, maybe. But for most of us I think not. Plus it will distract from the lessons on how to grow traffic.

This was not new at all. It was the way I wrote it that got them thinking. I am not soliciting for comments. However, if you wish to see what I did that would be cool.

Rationale

My new reason for writing posts on Wealthy Affiliate was to share the results from my new blog posts. That was the reason why I decided to lay off being active here for the moment.

Since my latest blog could be of help to others I decided write this.

Final Thoughts

Getting back to the Keyword issue! Kyle had stressed that we should pay more attention to our content rather than to keywords. If the content helps our visitors, then it will be filled with effective keywords within itself.

I used that as my guiding light when I went ahead using the keyword I did even though on the surface it looked bad.

Only time will tell if I see traffic going there. And I will give an update perhaps in a few months time. Got to let Google do its thing regarding the Authority Website and all.

Update on February 5, 2020.

The very next day after it got indexed this post appeared in the #1 slot on page 1 of all the search engines. The question I have is with the keyword showing trafic of less than 10 nobody may enter such a search phrase. Hence I will need to rely on trafic from the secondary keywords derived from the sub-titles and phrases within the content. What do you think?
