Browsing Wealthy Affiliate Incognito - Monetize Thousands Of Affiliate Links!

I must be one of the few members who didn't know what a non-member would see when they clicked an affiliate link from Wealthy Affiliate. It's little surprises like this that delights me just like a naive kid. Knowing that one can monetize thousands of affiliate links on the Wealthy Affiliate platform I felt even more excited!

At the end I share some ideas on an approach that I am going to use. You may also find that worth doing, if you haven't already done so.

That didn't stop be from exploring the Wealthy Affiliate platform incognito for myself. On Chrome, I clicked the three vertical dot's on the top right where I could select the incognito browsing feature,

I hadn't realized the extent anyone could look into Wealthy Affiliate even when they are not a member.

Hence, I wanted to share what I discovered with the expectation it will help others like me, who had vague ideas on how this works.

Using My WA Blog To Attract Referrals

Since I decided to use my recent Think and Grow Rich blog series to attract referrals here are two views. First the regular one with the affiliate link selected.

Followed by the view a non-member would see when they clicked it. Notice that my picture appears on the right so they know whose affiliate link they clicked.

They can either fill in the form and become a starter member of they can click the X at the top right and continue to explore. Every area is available for a visitor to click and explore.

Every member, even a starter member, has a unique affiliate link. When this leads to a referral who upgrades to Premium, the member will get credited with a commission from Wealthy Affiliate. Starter members earn half the commission of a Premium member. Isn't that amazing!

One doesn't even need to have a website to promote the Wealthy Affiliate program. This can be done on Social Media as well as through Email marketing. There is training on Wealthy Affiliate that teaches how to do this.

Let's see the view they get if they click the Research button on the left:

This may not mean much at first glance but they can see some interesting clickable links in the research area. If they try to click any of these guess what happens. The sign up window appears.

What if you wanted to send a link to someone to showcase the training program. Let's say I wanted to show people exactly what they can get in the Bootcamp training. This is how it works.

Sharing The Training Program

I first get to the specific training page, in this case Bootcamp Lesson 1, using the training links on the left. The first view is when I capture the affiliate link from my Wealthy Affiliate Dashboard:

When I click the affiliate link icon to this lesson I get the link appear allowing me to copy it as you can see below.

When the person I send this link to either enters this link into their browser window or clicks it, the following view is what they see:

This looks very similar to the original with a few items missing. Such as the share via Email as well as the affiliate link capture.

If the viewer is serious about learning online marketing, here they will get a good flavor of what they have in store for them if they join now.

Alternately, if this doesn't excite them, then that is OK too. Think of this process as a filtering mechanism so that you only get referrals who appear interested. Of course, they can always change their minds after they become a starter member too.

Creating Monetizing Campaigns

I began to think about creating promotional campaigns for any specific topic on Internet Marketing. This can cover a range greater than affiliate marketing to appeal to a larger target market.

It can be fun going through the training and webinars picking up a few affiliate links on say:

1. Website building
2. Content creation
3. Keyword Research
4. SEO
5. Social Media Marketing
6. Email Marketing
7. Traffic Generating
8. Making YouTube Videos
9. Learning about the Google Tools

Anyone who wants to build an online business need to become good in these areas.

Find forums on Facebook or other special interest groups that you can join.

Get involved in discussions where you can provide solutions to questions asked. Here is an important rule. NEVER place your affiliate links here. You could get kicked off the group if it violates their rules.

When you gain credibility on these topics invite others to contact you if they want more information. It may take some time to get to this point. Then would be the correct time to share these links on Wealthy Affiliate.

There may be exceptions. If a forum permits affiliate links, use them only after you provide valuable teaser information with the invitation to get the whole enchilada by clicking the link you provide. If you can use a picture with the link embedded, that would be preferable.
