That is a good point Steve. Considering that I dont think there will be alot of content going on it that I have to write then no I dont think it would be worth 20 bucks an hour. The initial set up time of the site I would say is about 5 hours all together though roughly. It is still not completely done but once it is all finished I would say hours spent on it would be 5 or 6.

Assuming 6 hours then at your rate you would be charging a mere $120. That is not enough, it should be at least $600 as a minimum and that would be fair for both parties (more fair to them I would add).

Also remember that there will be issues once it is setup, will you be charging to resolve these issues?

Okay so if I were to charge him 600 bucks for the year does that sound reasonable? I didn't think about the issues that I might have with the site.

How much content, (word count) are you planning on giving them for that? It seems extremely cheap to be honest :)

Well mostly so far it has just been uploading pictures of there store to the site and making them a contact page, privacy policy, return policey, saftey, about, and thats about it. In terms of writing up articles and stuff there probably wont be alot of that. I am getting him to make a bio on himself and the store so I can put it in the about page for him. Then I will be andding some saftey things on the saftey page and uploading pics to the our store page.

This is the site I have not quite finished it yet. valleyvapes.siterubix.com I will be transferring the domain they already bought and using it for the site rubix site. I was thinking of charging them like 20 bucks a month. Because they prob wont have a lot of content to go on all the time.

I should also mention that they are not looking to sell anything on it as of yet so it is just an information type of site. I am trying to convince the owner to start selling his product online. ( so I can get a commission )
