Dear family, it really takes me long to disapprove comments but I am currently dishearted with the quality of comments I am receiving on my articles is bad, yes I have received great ones too and those I approve with comments back. Unfortunately some members just pick and repeat what you have written.
Here is what I do, maybe it will help, if I am not familiar with the subject I don't comment, if I dont know what to say, I dont try and make up stuff because I believe that the arthor will sense my sincerity on my comments.

Don't let it get you down, its just another speed bump. Focus on the productive comments, build on them and press on. There will be bad comments that will not have anything positive in them, for those just simply turn a blind eye. There will also be those bad but critical comments, get anything that will help you build from them and capitalize.

Cheyza, I would never regard critical comments as bad comments. What we are dealing with here is yada-yada comments that say nothing until a full paragraph is done.
I have received many comments as well where the person just repeats what I have written in the article. I simply disapprove them. I wish people would just not comment on something they know nothing about.
It happens, just have to disapprove and move on. Happy to leave some comments if you pm me a post link.

I'm similar in my dealing with comments. If I am clueless about the topic, I don't comment. I haven't been commenting on many discussions for the same reason.
