How can I help?
My first post, please share your thoughts.
I was in a conversation with a friend on this MLK Day and he reminded me of a quote of the Reverend’s:
“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is what are you doing for others”?
He urged me to donate more to charities and volunteer more to help the homeless. I explained that I had tried that but I was changing my approach because I didn’t feel like I was having an impact; I shared a quote from Jay-Z’s ‘Moment of Clarity’:
“And I can't help the poor if I'm one of them. So I got rich and gave back to me, that's the win, win”
Jay was explaining that it wasn’t until he was recognized as a success artistically and financially and his business acumen apparent that a lot more doors were open to him and a lot more people not only donated but pledged to help by creating educational programs and financial opportunities and legal protection for those less fortunate.
This is why my monthly goals are so high because I feel that scope and impact are important. How many people can I make affiliate marketing available to; educate about crypto; provide info to about the stock market and make them self reliant?
However, my friend wanted to know how many people who set out to succeed actually succeed and what happens to the less fortunate in the meantime?

Those who gain success do give back, Derek! That's also one way to remain successful is to give freely!

Hi, @DSheriff1 Congratulations on your new post.
I think that if you're passionate to help and teaching those less fortunate than you then that's the audience you should target and focus on the ones who "SHOW" with actions they want to succeed.
Actually, go into the communities you serve and teach what you are offering to teach. You're always going to have those that say they want to succeed but don't want to do the footwork and you'll have those that are willing to work hard and do their part to succeed.
Focus on those who actually want to succeed and are willing to do what it takes to be successful if given the chance. It all starts by changing your paradigm.

Thx DianeK! I can’t believe you juggle so many websites; I’m going to have to learn multitasking from you. I moved from NY to Palm Bay, FL once and I lasted a year; I actually missed the 4 seasons more than I thought.
