Great concise article! Sadly, all too many suffer from a low self-esteem. It takes a lot of work for a person suffering from a low self-esteem to get themselves to the point where they feel better about themselves.
Low self-esteem comes from the self-doubt we learn as a child when we're criticized for things we try to do for ourselves even when it's unwarranted
Sometimes it's the control someone wants to have over you by holding you back or it can be somene who's miserable and wants to hold you back because it makes them feel better about themselves to see you fail.
Having low self esteem is extremely debilitating. I speak from experience.
I still have periods of self doubt and can spiral out of control if I don't keep my eye on the ball, so to speak.
Thanks for this
