One of the great byproducts of doing affiliate marketing is that I am going to learn so much about my niche. I thought I knew some things about fitness and health, but there is SO much to learn. It's great that I can take what I learn and synthesize it down to what I think is most important and then share it with others.
One of the super important things I've learned is the mega importance of water!

Without water we can't survive! I know, I know... we've all heard it before, right? Yeah, but did you know that stress, low back pain, headaches, rheumatoid arthritis, colitis, hernia, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol are all tied to dehydration? And that's just naming a few. As Dr. Batmanghelidj says in his book, "Your Body's Many Cries For Water", "You're not sick; you're thirsty". Imagine if you could cure your ailments by drinking water!
So, I've created a challenge for the month of August. The idea is to drink the recommended daily amount of water for the next 31 days and keep track of the physical differences in your body and mind over that period of time. Then, at the end, there will be an opportunity for all of you to post your results. Whoever has the most dramatic results (as determined by me) will win a free month of weekly half hour coaching calls.
Body weight divided by 2= number of ounces of water per day
This is the simplest way to determine the approximate number of ounces of water that you should drink daily. As an example, I weigh 130 lbs. 130 divided by 2 = 65. So I need to drink 65 ounces of water a day. If you weigh 200, then you need 100 ounces.
After trying to figure out how to keep track of my water intake for a few days, I found a 2.2 liter water bottle shoved away in the top shelf of my cabinet that I'm now using. I fill it up in the morning and pour myself a glass throughout the day. If you don't have a nice big bottle, then maybe you have a pitcher. I would recommend NOT using plastic, like an empty 2 liter Coke bottle.
That's all there is to it. Who's in? Please leave a comment below and let me know if you're taking the challenge. What do you have at stake? Do you have a pain that you'd like to go away? Try it and see... you might be pleasantly surprised.
