6 Month Checkup
So, it has been 6 months since signing up here at WA and I have finished the Bootcamp! I'm also more than 1/2 way through the regular certification courses.
I have 3 websites up and running, but they have been getting zero clicks thus far. I don't know why I'm not getting ANY traffic at this point!? I've shared it via my limited social networks, asked for comments, etc. But I've gotten zero results. Others are getting positive results (from what I've been reading) at the 6 month timeframe...so why aren't I??
It's very frustrating and is making me want to leave WA, to tell you the truth. UGH.
If you'd like to add comments, my sites are as follows:
All help is GREATLY appreciated!!

Maybe you have too many websites, and it's hard to keep adding content to all 3 at the same time.
Hi Doug
Truly, the MMO niche is not an easy one to crack. For your sites, I suggest that you make it a blogroll so it is easier for people to navigate from 1 page to another.
I noticed that you do not have many articles on 2 of your sites. Usually you will need more than 15 articles to get some form of traffic. Keep building and traffic will come. Don't give up!
Cheers

Hi Doug sorry you're feeling so frustrated, was looking at your site which looks great but maybe too overtly WA focused. One suggestion could be to broaden your articles and focus on promoting those on social media to get people onto the site. It is slow but people will appreciate the articles and help and then respond to your recommendations.
I tend to use Hootsuite to help post on Twitter or Facebook or google+, then just add the url of the web page and hootsuite will shorten it into twitter and you can add a comment. So long as you are engaging on Twitter regularly you should begin to build up some retweets and fav for your posts. It may not happen straight away but just keep at it. In the meantime keep reading other articles by marketing experts and pick up hints on how they are using social media to build up a following. Again Twitter is a great place, follow me at @HainsworthMarie I often retweet marketing and other SEO articles.
Also check out this module on WA Online Entrepreneur Certification - Mastering Social Engagement (Level 4) if you haven't already done so.
Thanks again for the information. I'm so socially un-savvy that I don't even know what a "re-tweet" is! I think it's just forwarding an existing tweet (i.e. similar to forwarding an e-mail), but I don't know for sure.
I'm in the midst of that module on WA, so I'm learning about some of the Facebook/Twitter/Google+ stuff. Hopefully, some of it will sink in through my thick head! :)
It does appear confusing and it is easier to learn one at a time, start slowly with one and then add them in when you're ready. You'll get there and each one is different so it does take time!

Hey Doug,
I have just reviewed your website: lessstressmoremoney and I really want to know what kind of keywords you are targeting. I think one of the reasons why you are not getting any clicks or referrals is because you are competing against keywords that have a lot of competition.
I would like to know what kind of "AVG Search" and no. of competitors will make you write an article.
And finally, have you setup Google Webmaster and have you made your articles known to Google?
