Closing In
It 'tis amazing which monsters of distraction can raise their hideous heads and pull us away from the important tasks at hand. What's even more amazing is that it's usually right after we've made some great progress and we think that we have reached a new plateau in defeating procrastination.
Fortunately, by Kyle and Carson's great design, we are maneuvered into doing some things that will really further our knowledge and experience needed for our campaigns if we complete each and every task assigned us during the different lessons on each level of training.
At this point I'm going through some touching up on Google Authorship and I'm finding a few areas that I was a little hazy in the first go around. But I'm closing in and am only a few more lessons from completing this final level and I really did need to get another post on the board.
So Kyle, Carson... great insights guys! Thanks for knowing just how to work us right at the precise and perfect time! Now to go expand my horizons at Google+.

I'm right there with ya. Takes a few go arounds for things to sink in but when they do we just take off! I was watching myself fix up a menu and realized that just a few short months ago I didn't know the difference between a menu and a widget. Heck, now I'm even resizing images.

Oh boy can I relate to ya' Rick! I'm amazed how much I've learned in the short time I've been here... sure is whole lot more to go, though! The best back to you too, sure do appreciate ya'!
you're sooo right bout procrastination!! I think I'm doing great, and then...guess what?!?! I'm writing a poem, or watching So You Think You Can Dance, or going to the racetracks when I should be working!!!! :)
Ummmmm, racetrack??? You're bringing back some great memories at Santa Anita. I used to hang out in the Club House. Dick Van Patten, Mickey Rooney, Claude Akins... used to walk right past these guys. Good memories!
Horse races!!! One of my favorite things to do!!!! Wish I could go back to the days of pretty dresses, huge hats, and dapper men! :)

WOW do I know that word procrastination....I hate it. But I have found it is because I don't understand what I have to do and it scares me. So I just need to get over the fear and GET-R-DONE. Well in due time. God is good and whew he still love me.

Yes He does. Yeah, procrastination is always a prob but sometimes like right now I get a little writer's block and that can be a game killer! I gotta wake up this brain and GET-R-DONE (-;
Exactly why what I suggested today would be great. It will be nice when you just need a break, when you go on vacation.or just writers block issue. And we need to help one another with ideas ;O)

Am still going through another lesson go around. Each time you pick up something and then search in the looking for bar and find more. When I work on one focused task at a time, distractions and procrastination habits are lessened. Google + is a must.
Aye, sometimes I forget that being single-minded can lead to quicker and more consistent accomplishments. I really do allow way too many distractions. I think that it may be time to turn a bedroom into an office. As soon as the summer is over and it's a wee bit cooler upstairs, I can see this happening! (-:
Having your own space to focus. I couldn't do this without my office in my kitchen. My bedroom would make it too tempting to lie down. LOL
