Hey, y'all! Name's Taylor. I'm 18-years-old and fresh out of the annoying, oh-so-frustrating, part-time amazing, complicating thing they call high school. In September, I'm off to the city that never sleeps to start my career in filmmaking and being the most expensive place to live, I need a way to support myself. Wealthy Affiliate seems like a great opportunity for me to learn the ropes of online marketing, so here I am.

A bit about myself;
Grew up in Toronto with one sister in a jewish orthodox family - Moved to Israel for one year in fifth grade - Came back to Toronto - Left high school after eleventh grade because the orthodox lifestyle was not for me - Went to a Jewish art seminary in Pittsburgh for a year (Learned filmmaking, screenwriting, dance, theatre, music theory…) - The year after that, this past year, I went back to high school to complete twelfth grade in a modern orthodox school in New Jersey - Graduated June 6! - Trying to figure out my life.

I'm taking a gap year before I start college. I plan on applying to NYU Tisch School of the Arts for the film program. My goal is to have a successful business online by the time I finish college and be able to support myself nicely so I can focus on building a production studio, and have the money to do so.

I have an eternal love for writing and would like to do something with that as my online business. I love dance, as is obvious from my username. I love rain, horseback riding, skating, the smell of wood and freshly mown grass, filmmaking, lakes/rivers/oceans, traveling, researching random bits of information, memorizing useless things (such as 100 digits after the decimal of pi), etc…and have an intense fascination for lucid dreaming and quite frankly, any strange, compelling thing involving the wonder that lies between the bones of my cranium.

I look forward to meeting you! And here's a little taste of my writing:

I feel lonely. Simple as that. Broken, empty, and just plain lonely. And this is the moment when my right brain usually takes over and a fancy description of something that burns deep inside my soul, or a characterization for the vast emotions that rip through me like a hurricane to a field of sunflowers in the endless Kansas blanket pour onto the paper, the black ink a continuation of the fiery red that flows through my veins. But I don't want that right now. For all that seems to me like some glorified version of heartache, sorrow, and suffering that play into the readers' hands like some juicy gossip whispered beneath the old weeping willow down by the creek. And, you see, this writing is supposed to be for me, not you. But for some reason, I can't seem to help it. The glorified words continue to spill out and the gossip races between the branches down to the the gurgling water as if just to spite me. And I let it. I let it, because this is all I've known. I write what I need to tell. What would destroy me from the inside out if I did not release it. And if this is how it has to be told, so be it. You, the readers, will enjoy what I write, forgetting that this is my pain, my burdens that you bear with such delight. You treasure a well-written prose, whilst disregarding the darkness that it truly is. My darkness. A darkness that envelopes all I do and see and hear. And all I touch turns to ashes, the ashes reborn in the chasms of my dying soul. And as the sun sinks, my heart weeps for a story that can be told but will be never be truly known. And as you read these last words, my farewell to all those who presume to know me, know that you do not know me at all.
Dancegoddess's Goals 3
Money Goals
Fresh meat here, so not sure what's the norm...but would be extremely happy with 500 bucks a month. If I made enough to cover rent, living costs, school, etc. I would be ecstatic. Say, $5000 a month. I would like to reach the $5000 goal by the end of college (I'm just out of high school), and realistically, can put in about an hour a day. Although, if I have more free time, I will definitely do as much as I can.

Hi Taylor, thanks for the follow. Wow you certainly aint one of those people that we have to drag any info about themselves from.... :-) which is great. I'm intrigued with your ambition for film, having worked as an actor for many years in Aus, (when I was a lot younger), I was even in a commercial for coors light which was made for the super bowl and directed by Rob Cohen, which was pretty cool. Anyway, welcome to the community, I have a feeling that you are gonna do just fine here, and even though I am still a newbie myself if I can help in any way just let me know... Cheers, Ian

:) I figured that the more I write, the more I'll find in common with other people and it's easier to connect to people when there's common ground...even if but a tiny piece of it. Cool! I love acting (among the billion and one other things I love) but am a lot more comfortable behind the camera. Thanks for the follow and cheers right back at ya!
