Just A Little Dissapointed
Well, for the past 3 days I have made significant progress, starting the day after labor day. First I wrote another blog post on my website, bringing me up to 20 posts so far. Then I signed up for an auto responder and created a squeeze page. I embedded the squeeze page onto the front page of my website. Everything looks GREAT!! Then I tested it with my own email and it works. Everything was awesome and I was getting pretty excited about everything.
The final thing that I did was signed up for safe swaps. I was a member there before, like years ago. It used to be pretty good from what I remember. If you had a list already you just swapped the list for for someone else's. Basically, the other peoples's subscribers would visit your website and if they were interested they would subscribe to your mailing list. They also had it set up to where if you were just starting out with no list, you can buy a certain number of clicks from people to help you get started building a list.
Unfortunately, after I signed up this time, I couldn't find anyone who was selling clicks at all. It was all just swaps and that was it. Not only that, but I remember when I did this before that there was a lot more people online than this too. There was only 3 people online when I first logged in. About an hour later there was 7 people, then it quickly went back down to 4. Needless to say I am just a little dissapointed.... Especially since there is no free trial involved and it cost $30.00 today. It will be $30.00/mo. As well until cancelled.
Of course if something don't change soon, I will be cancelling that membership. I am just not sure what I am going to do now as far as a list goes. I really want to start building my list ASAP. But I am sure another solution will present itself.

You build your list initially with good SEO and social shares. Sites such as the one you mentioned are a real scam and don't provide you with legitimate customers.
I wouldn't let this get you down David, typically places which sell clicks for money tend to receive bad ROI on the other side. Trust me, nothing is better than focusing and getting organic traffic daily.
But you do need to get that content up and continuing in order to get there, but trust me, like a tree that you water, it will grow and bear you amazing fruits.
