How time flies and the bank account empties
Then I got into another program that did not scam me in the sense I got nothing at all and lost something. They provided to be an educational tool but they were just teaching basic marketing funnels that I learned back in college but I stuck it out figuring it had to only get better. So a second module and then when the 3 module came and was 5 times the price...I was out.
I am not even sure how I came across the WA, I certainly did not go looking for it but some how I ended up on the home page. The week free to try and without a credit card had me hooked for one last attempt at making a business from this. That 7 day trial taught me more and made me accomplish more than the other 6 months I wasted at the other 2 educational services. I signed up immediately for my first discounted month.
The first 2 weeks were great! I was pounding through the lessons, soaking in all this great wealth of knowledge and support but my sponge needed to be rung out to soak up more or I needed to become a Sham-wow. Then trouble arouse. My whole site went all wonky, content I added kept disappearing, my account kept freezing and wouldn't load or wouldn't load anything new. I couldn't type anything without it freezing and SiteSupport couldn't figure it out. At this point I was like, #@*%! this I am out.
Apparently I came into the WA through someone I didn't even know but I was fine with as it made no difference no me. I reached out to this person once before with a simple question and they answered accordingly and professionally. When this issue started to arise, I reached out again only to get one of the rudest messages I had ever gotten. Needless to say, I never responded to this person ever again, I do not need that sort of negativity in my life. I reached out to our faithful founders and awaited a reply and then reached out to SiteSupport who worked with me for several days to get it fixed but finally told me they really had no idea what to do as nothing made sense.
Now I have never been good with computers, I actually have tried to avoid them my whole life, thus why I decided to juggle glass bottles for a career as a flair bartender. Closest I got to a computer was a calculator on my cellphone, perfect job. I got to travel the world, work in 16 different countries, worked in Hollywood movies, worked in television and made more money than I could handle at the time. Unfortunately an unforeseen accident ended all that and I refused to just end up on disability and a fixed income sitting around all day. I'm not that type of person, I needed to always be testing myself, pushing myself forward and actually accomplish something. even though I had to work with computers now, my biggest and hardest task to date. I was simply just fed up with all the scams, rudeness and overall not being able to fix a problem which I have always done simply because I didn't know a thing about what I was doing with computers.
Enter Carson. If you haven't had the privilege to talk or work with Carson, you have to add this to your bucket list. Carson is usually a little quiet and in the background here at WA as my experience to date has been dealing with Kyle mostly. Thanks to Carson coming along when he did and helping me out the way he did, he showed me that this company ACTUALLY does care about their clients. Carson even admitted he had no idea why my account was doing what it was doing but he never stopped and never gave up.
For 18 days of messaging back and forth and him he finally got my account working, got back all of my content that I had lost but could not retrieve the logo that I had modified from a previous business I had. That whole experience with Carson is what made me tough this out and make it work.
The WA is not perfect, there are things that need to be changed and some that have been changed. What makes the WA so great is simply it's honest, it's true, in most cases it's affordable. I am currently on a fixed income and it as been a real hard road to make my monthly fees every month but I have done what has been needed to be done to make it happen. Simply because, there is not a better education, better support or resources on the whole of the internet and all for this amazing price. I am surprised there's not a picture of the WA beside the word value in the Oxford dictionary.
So, what have I accomplished in 6 months at the wealthy affiliate and will I continue for another 6 months? Between the first ordeal I went through with my site, through my landlord being arrested and me loosing my internet and then missing a months payment trying to get internet back, I have only had 4 months of actually useage of my WA account in which time I have gotten through Course 3 in the certification classes, I have 3 websites up and running and a 4th in the barrel that I am ready to pull the trigger on soon. Only 1 is on the cusp of being ready to start some revenue coming in. I have made some amazing friendships, I have lost some also which I am not terribly upset about. My knowledge ad confidence of working on computers has grown easily 10 fold and then multiplied by a hundred. It has given me great satisfaction every time I am able to help someone with a problem and get them moving forward again towards their goals. I will most definitely be back for another 6 months and most likely even more years after that.
No matter what your experience, no matter what you know about computers, no matter you already work 2 jobs to get by but as long as you can do the work, be diligent and dedicate some time, even 4-6 hours a week, you can take this opportunity and turn it into a bright future that can make that burden and responsibility of 2 jobs and turn it into a 10 hour work week that you can do from anywhere in the world. No matter that I have not made any money yet ,I know what my future now holds and how easily I can obtain it and it's all thanks to Carson and Kyle at the Wealthy Affiliate.
Thanks guys, cheers!
Thank you to my WA family for all your help and for making this greatest challenge of mine actually fun!
Happy Affiliating in 2018!!

Join the gang. I have been and in the same boat. Now broke. A few so called entrepreneurs are now rich as they are promoters not teachers or leaders.
Tom.
I have been a professional skateboarder, a professional flair bartender and now I am a professional broke person...financially and physically LOL
Don't ever say such words. It's like you tag yourself with negativism.. Say "I temporarily don't have money and I have problems with health which will go."You are a strong person . You will cope with it.Join a gang of optimists...:))
I am nearly 77 years of age and will not give up until I get a letter from the Queen in 23 and a bit years.
But then I may keep going as I will have over 1000 blogs about being positive with Health and Wealth.
Only a bit over 800 to go. Well I may have to make it 2000.
I have one eBook ready to sell and another 8 on the way.
Thanks for your time,
Tom.
Yes, Tom. Never give up. And we should watch our language. Our language pretty much defines our life. One thing is if we say"I have hypertension". It sounds like a sentence. We live with this thought. Another thing is to say "I sometimes have high blood pressure" This phrase shows that this condition is not tagged to us, we have it sometimes, and we will cope with it . BTW, I sometimes have high blood pressure, but I will cope with this.:)
I have no health problems but we moved from Brisbane in Queensland to up on the range and south to get away from the humidity as my wife's doctor told her she would not last another summer in Brisbane because her heart failure was so bad. That was 14 years ago.
Tomorrow we are going back so she can see 3 specialist on the one day in three different hospitals. 2 years ago the heart doctor told her to relax while he did an ECG, Next thing he shook her. She looked up at him and laughed at as he had gone white as a sheet.
He said it is not funny as she was straight lining. He said he would have to put a in a pace maker. She said no way. She knows how to get attention. That is the 4th time she has done it in front of doctors. Only 5 to go. It is a 4 hour drive up and again coming back.
We hit a kangaroo last week when we went up to Brisbane. It was only a young one. I hope we will miss them over the next two days.

Hi Jair, thank you so much for sharing your personal experiences. I am new here and it is so good to find all the honesty and goodwill that so freely abounds here. Here's to your success!
Well, welcome Julie. The WA is your best choice to learn the industry and start your online business. Past that I don't think there's still anywhere better to be as Carson and Kyle are always forging ahead and ensuring they provide services and resources that can not be found anywhere else on any other platform.
If you need any help need some advice, if I don't know the answer I usually know where to find it (except for my current battle but I solved it this morning....DELETE! lol) My inbox is always open and I have sought out people and their given strengths as I needed a TON of help when I started (and still do) I just believe a wise man has more questions than answers, I wish you all the best Julie, I know you will do just fine here at the WA. Do the work, follow the lessons completely and ask lots of questions.

Hi Jair, so glad that you stuck at it and things are going well. I remember when you started, there was a flu-y type bug around and you gave us a recipe for a Peppermint Stingerto help!
How time flies! Onwards and upwards always, have a positive and prosperous 2018, but best of all... Have Fun! Sue :)
I totally remember that...I forgot about it till you just reminded me lol. When I was bartending, I was not what most people associate with the term "bartender" I prided myself on the roots of bartending, back to the days when Doctors couldn't fix you, you went to a bartender or a medicine man, when recipes were made in gallons and modified with tinctures. I also prided myself on the classic look and of course the entertainment side that is flair and magic. There was a reason why I was ranked 11th in the world by the FBA, I would have broken into the top 10 if I didn't break my back a second time...but without that....I would never have been here.
Well glad it helped you out. I have a poison for every ailment pretty much and my inbox is always open.
Thanks, Howard, glad you enjoyed it. It was a blog totally unplanned. I got the notification for my badge I got today, I hit share and wrote it a paragraph at a time just to see what kind of response I could get by writing off the top of my head as opposed to doing my regular planning. I was impressed how it turned out.
When are you breaking into the top 50?
That's a good feeling when you can write confidence! For me, sometimes it happens, and other times it takes a lot more work.
I don't know if I will break into the top 50 Jair. It takes a lot of time to help others here in WA! I have had a little extra time recently and I have enjoyed spending it engaging the WA community.
Someday I may be there but I would like my skillset to reflect my ranking number. I can't always help folks who have technical issues, but I am a great cheerleader! LOL
My highest rank I had was 44 back in November but I notice my site and skills were not progressing the way I was happy with. I dropped out to 1300 and been slowly creeping my way back up. One thing I can say since I have worked at increasing my rank, being within top 200, 100, 50, there is no difference or extra perks than where I am now at four and a quarter. Unless your pushing for vegas and the top 25, there's no real point to it but it can be used to motivate your advancement which is exactly what I have always used it for,
Now with my one site about ready to produce some income, I think I will judge that by my revenue growth, now there's something to get excited about!! LOL
Yes, WA rank does not always equate to one's financial outcome with a website, but it can help if promoting WA and Jaaxy.
Yes, let your paycheck be the gauge of your WA success! I am coming up on four years here at WA in June. My website has been making money for years, not retirement type, but it's okay. The second site is launched and expect the same results soon.
I am sure you appreciate being here in WA as much as I do! Press on, and as Zig used to say, "We'll see you at the top!"

Hi Jair,
I am so glad you got help and got it fixed. I have always been impressed at how Kyle and Carson pop up to help us and answer questions personally. It is amazing considering how many members are here.
I agree with everything you said. I don't make much money yet even though I have been here for 2 years. I have made sales since very early on however and I KNOW this system works. I just need to put in more time to make more money. Since I have a very good job already that provides a flexible schedule, great benefits and great boss and co-workers, I have to keep it for now. With my health problems I know I am really lucky to have such a job. I want my independence and my own fully sustaining business someday but I am just glad I can build that up slowly over time!
WA gives us the opportunity to really build a long term business and also the skills to go in many directions in the future! I LOVE WA and hope to stay here forever.
