If You Build It, They Will Come
Hi Everyone! I was very pleased to have ended 2015 with a new website, whitepearlsofwisdom.com, and I'm so thankful to be a part of such a wonderful community of people all working toward the same goals.
I'm very excited for the new year and would love to connect with any of you who also have websites related to health.
Also I'm at the point now in my journey, where I'm eager to start driving people to my website and would love to hear some of the ways you have had success in this area.
I would love to hear from you!
Diana

Hey Diana,
The best way I continue to drive people to my site is to apply what WA teaches. Write new content regularly that provides value and is targeted towards keywords that people are searching for.
Yes! I think you are absolutely right and I will keep up with the target keywords and content. Do you think it's necessary to have links to ALL social media sites? Or are just a few select ones ok? I.e. Google+, and Pinterest only..opposed to Twitter, Facebook Google+, and all the other ones?
You should only have links to social media profiles that your audience may actually use and will interact in your business. Also you only want to use the social media profiles you'll actually have the time to be active in as well. So for me it's only Facebook and twitter at the moment. You can't and shouldn't be everywhere. Most of your interaction you want to happen at your blog since you can control that.
Hello D and great start your site is clean and healthy but Google does not like duplicate pics also on first page the text spacing is. Or good on mobile so take it out as you have said it on about me - you have to get Google friendly to attract people ok
But love what you are doing - best regards Paul
Thanks Paul! Your input is much appreciated! I didn't know about the duplicate stuff...I will take that out of my home page and I will work on that :) thank you so much for responding! Diana

Since you are an experienced dental hygienist, you could invite people over social media to ask you questions, and then respond to those questions with a blog post. Maybe you could even have a "take a look at my teeth" service where people send a photo and you recommend a product (affiliate link!) or practice (link to your content!).
By the way, I had a lot of teeth troubles growing up and had a pretty negative self image about my teeth. One day a dental hygienist paid me lots of compliments while cleaning my teeth and suggested a couple of things I could do to keep them looking even nicer. I had heard these things before, but it was the compliments that made me change my dental routine for the better!
