Updates to AI Images in ChatGPT

So, in my opinion, DALLE-3 has really upped its game recently, and the quality of its images has improved.

In fact, it's my number one go-to, replacing Leonardo.ai, which quite frankly, is difficult to work with.

And now, there is a further welcome improvement in ChatGPT - the ability to edit your images, as you go along!

Previously, if you were not happy with the results, you had to start again, and perhaps change your prompt to get what you wanted.

But now, you can edit the original, suggesting the changes you require.

Let's see how it works.

Open up DALLE-3 in ChatGPT (sorry - the paid version only!)

Here is my initial prompt, and the result.

You will see from the first screenshot, that DALLE-3 now has some suggestions, and the option to change your aspect ratio - square, widescreen, or vertical.

There are lots of other suggestions too, if you click the Shuffle button.

Now, let's say I want to change the image.

Click on the image, and you will see a new panel open up on the right.

Click on Edit Image to add your new instructions.

I requested "Change the gown to green and the drink from wine to champagne. "

Here is the result, not sure why she is somewhat "curvier," shall we say!

You can ask for multiple changes until you get the required result.

Why not have a go?

The new updates and features are absolutely fabulous in my opinion Diane!

Not too sure why in the second image she seems a little more "curvier" either??

You didn't..... No I won't go there!!

Enjoy your weekend my friend and I hope all is well!!

🤣👍🍻

Thanks for sharing this informational post, Diane. I just recently discovered the new image edit this week. It is an awesome improvement. I went to ChatGpt Pro last month, and I really like it; it is much easier to use than Leonardo. I have only gotten a couple of images from Leonardo that I like well enough to use. Copilot is not bad, but I find it better for text information than images. Who knows, I may change my mind as I explore it further.

Hi Diane

I was going to post this, but you beat me to it, so thank you for that (more guitar-playing time!). Lol 😎

You could always change the aspect ratio by telling it to create a 1:1, 16:9, or 9:16 image:
Square (1:1): 1024x1024 pixels
Wide (16:9): 1792x1024 pixels
Tall (9:16): 1024x1792 pixels

16:9 is the standard video aspect ratio for television widescreen.

Rock On! 🤘

I especially like the second one; like the actual model, backlight shooting, blonde hair, and body posture are perfect. Thanks.

I agree it's improved alot.
