Time Travel with Google Maps!

So, Google has introduced a new feature in Google Maps that allows you to look at a Street View up to 15 years ago.

Of course, this is nothing to do with business or your websites, but I thought it was interesting enough to show you!

If you are not familiar with Street View, head over to Google Maps and select your location.

I have chosen my lovely home city of Nottingham!

Next, drag the little yellow man to wherever you want to see the Street View on the map.

So, here we are, outside what is said to be the oldest pub in England!

Note in the top corner that it tells you this photo was taken in April 2022.

Next to it is a clock icon.

If you click on this, you can see that there is a timeline, so you can drag this to travel back in time!

Obviously, I haven't chosen a very good example, as the pub and surrounding area has not changed for hundreds of years!

But you can perhaps use this feature to look at your own house or your town to see how it has changed.
