Build My Niche of the Day - Pro Wrestling!
So, following on from my previous blog post, which discusses the few simple steps to take to set up a niche website, I had a request to do the same thing with pro wrestling! Following the same principles, lets build a website!
First of all, who is is my target audience going to be? Lets go with wanna be wrestlers, who are interested in all aspects of the sport, will enjoy learning about it but may require some coaching.
Are there any relevant domains available? How about these; mywrestlehard.com, grappleforever.com, wrestlestory.com, letswrestleblog.com, wewrestleclub.com
Now I have my domain, how can I help people? What questions will wanna be wrestlers be asking?
At what age could I start pro wrestling?
Who is the richest wrestler in WWE?
How do I find a pro wrestling coach?
Who is the best wrestler of all time?
Where can I buy pro wrestling gear?
Having got my first few topics, I now need to find my keywords in Jaaxy, and I am good to go!
Next, are there any relevant affiliate programs?
- highspots - 5% commission on pro merchandise
- scientific wrestling - 30% commission on instructional courses
- wooter apparel - 20% commission on custom made gear
So, all of the above research took me 30 minutes. Why not grab a niche and set up a quick and easy site today? If there is any interest, I may make this a series of posts, covering a different niche every day. Suggestions welcome!
I have also been asked to create more in-depth training on each of the actual steps, so I am hoping to do that soon.

Often.. and by another one how long are you waiting to space out blogs on the topics you write about?
How long again have you been a member? When you come up w one how iften until you send out another one on the same niche?
Hi - are you asking about the blog posts I write for the members here at WA to help them? Or how often I add posts to my own websites?
I have been a member here for 10 months. I write blog posts as and when I feel like it, and think I have something that may be useful for other members to read and help them on their journey.
On my own websites, I try and add posts 2 or 3 times per week, depending on how busy I am in my "real" job. (Professional writer and proofreader).
This particular blog post is just an example of how it can be easier than you think to set up a niche website. I won't actually be using the domain names or questions or affiliate programs I have mentioned.
