Live life like a camera...
Most of us have used a camera, probably more than one in our lifetime.
Using a camera is similar to other things in life, including building our affiliate sites.
When taking photos, first you make sure you know what image you want to capture.
Set goals
Focus on what you are photographing.
Focus on the training and you site.
Capture the image.
Develop your site and keep writing.
If you don't get the picture you want, shoot again.
Keep writing and applying the lessons.
Keep building your album.
It's an ongoing work -- Don't give up!

Those side tasks are necessary, too, of course, but yes, the focus needs to be on our writing and building our site.

Jay's webinars I also want to make it a habit, they are productive.
They truly are the best! Since our family time schedule doesn't always allow for the "live" timeslot, I'm glad I can enjoy them after, too.
A simple, yet powerful analogy. I really appreciate the perspective you provided in this post. It’s really easy to get caught up in the monetization, analytics and self doubt that come with affiliate marketing.
At the root of what we are trying to do is create, and provide personalized insight that can inspire others.
The money is important and will come through consistency. It also shouldn’t be the main focus.
If you focus on making your content the best that it can be, and follow the lessons provided here at wealthy affiliate, there is no way you can fail.
