Progress Report
I found WA a little less than a month ago. I now have:
- My own domain! http://card-crafting-review.com
- The skeleton of a Web site in a niche I'm excited about.
- A general idea of how I plan to build it out.
- Completed certification training level two.
- Built a network of 2,475 people I'm following, and 675 people following me.
- Connected with several WA members and enjoyed mutually helping each other.
- Gotten started on Google+ and building a network there.
- Overcome my dislike of "social networking" as I experience useful, helpful interactions.
- Given feedback on six sites officially, and a few more thru private messaging.
- Made comments on several websites - both thru SiteComments and just visiting member sites.
- Shared links to WA a couple of times - gotta do more of this as it's truly a valuable resource!
- Figured out I need to limit the notifications I get, as I don't have time to checkout all the blog posts put out by fellow members. Otherwise I never find time for the training!!
It's a good start. In the next couple of months I plan to:
- Complete the certification training.
- Build more content on my website
- Become an annual WA member.
- Start monetizing my site.
I truly appreciate all the support and encouragement I've gotten from the WA community. Thank you Kyle and Carson for creating this wonderful atmosphere and excellent training.

Hi Diana just a suggestion - I think that you should rethink your front page layout a bit - you are the about page and that is enough???
Or you should be on the front page at the top because it is your spot
or a different idea for the front page
I love what you are doing and the whole idea but it is missing something as it - just an honest opinion
Hi Paul.
I appreciate the honesty. To clarify, I made some changes this evening, so I'm not sure which version you saw. I removed the about the author widget, and changed the background from grey to rich blue. Did you mean I should have a picture of me on the front page? One member thought the about the author widget showing on every page was too much.
My site is really just in draft state yet. I'll put some thought into what's missing. I really do appreciate any and all feedback!
Thanks,
Diana
Thanks for your words - I think that the about me page is enough for you to be on and make your front page more of an introduction with just basic info and that will make a person want to enter the site to read more
Well done and keep moving forward!
I think we all feel the same about going through emails. LOL
