Earning and Discussing

I haven't earned a dime yet, but I've seen an increase in traffic along with 3 referrals for Jaaxy! Hopefully, they'll upgrade soon!

I have no problem answering someone's question of how much money I've earned with internet marketing. Whether it's $0 or $5000, I don't mind telling someone if they ask. My question to the community is, why is it so taboo to ask someone how much money they've made? I know everyone will make different amounts depending on their site, niche, content, etc.... But why not tell someone if they are curious? I like to find out all details before diving into something, so what's the big deal?

I know it's not all about money initially, but in the long run it is. Afterall, that's ultimately why we are all here, to make money online and to learn how to do it correctly. So, I would like to here people's thoughts on sharing earnings. I know I would like to ask some people what they've made with their site and maybe learn a little extra on how to increase earnings.

Congrats on your 5 Referrals!

I don't think someone else's earning will be representative of what I can earn. People's time and effort put in as well as their previous knowledge and experience as online entrepreneur can impact earnings that will differ from others.

People's length of time with WA is not reflective of what someone else can accomplish in terms of earnings. How effectively have they implemented what they learned?

Then you have others who may have a budget to do some outsourcing for blog posts to speed up the process of supplying fresh unique content and possibly increasing earning potential faster than others. Not to mention those with a budget to do PPC or Facebook ads.

If we've done everything correctly, in the final analysis, we have to get traffic that converts to sales. -Christine

I've covered all those aspects. There really is no reason to not share success. Are we just to drink the cool aid and hope that what we're being told comes to fruition? You have to put a little cheese out to entice the mouse.

Now you are getting to the heart of the matter when you say "Are we just to drink the cool aid and hope that what we're being told comes to fruition?"

So for me the question becomes, with what we are being taught at WA, will it lead to making income as WA claims it will if we follow the training here?

I think this is a question on many minds and a frustration being felt by some based upon discussions. I don't know how many, but I do know I've read quite a few posts where members have been here 6 months or longer and haven't made any money.

I've been here going on 3 months and I've not made any money, but I haven't completed all the courses yet and I'm still working on building my 1st blog.

It's hard when you're paying out the monthly fee for this long and not getting any return on investment. I get it!

If after I complete all courses for Bootcamp and Online Entrepreneur Training, I've put in place everything taught and I'm still not making any money, then I have a personal decision to make going forward. Not based upon someone else's earnings, but lack of my own.

Before making such a decision, I will PM Kyle or Carson and express where I'm at with the program and see if they can provide some assistance before I exit. -Christine

Yipeeeee, I have 5 Jaaxy referrals, I just need them to upgrade now!

There are some people who give regular up dates on how much they have earned, and as you say everyone is a different levels with things I have not got my site finished yet so not earned anything much

I have been here since May last year and still have not made a cent.
I find the lessons quite difficult because I didn't grow up with computers.
Windows was only invented when I was in my 40's and MSdos was not user friendly.

I agree with you Christine. Some people succeed very quickly here at WA and I am sure they have a bigger budget and can afford to outsource some of the more tedious work.
I am not in a hurry and have a very small budget, so it is going to take time for me to succeed.
The secret is not to give up!!!!

I have been here since last Sept, and upgraded to Premium last Dec.

Until now my site traffic is still very very few..... so I am still earning nothing.....

I feel quite unhappy at times because it is not that easy for me to learn the training here. When I read through your post, I can sense that we may be of the same situation of trying to find our ways to make it. Hope with all out efforts, we will succeed one day

I have started one website http://homecookfood.siterubix.com/. Still working on it to improve.

Wishing you good luck and success! :)

A few people especially the newcomers have shouted that they've earned their first referrals. We're all excited to hear news like this. I'm not worried too much if some people would rather keep their earnings a secret. THat's their business.

Yes, you are right, it is their business. But, since we'rd all about helping each other here, it could be quite beneficial to know.

I don't think people here at WA are worried about niche stealing or content stealing. I agree I would like to hear some numbers from some of the more successful ones but I think they're afraid that we will feel inadequate or that we aren't doing as well as so-and-so. To use it as goal building is great but too many people would use it as a comparison to their progress and then get discouraged. I see both sides of the issue.

I agree with you , why is it so tabu?, I think in the beginning of this journey Kyle and Carson want us to build and learn the ins and outs of the whole site set-up thing, and not focus on the money part, because then we post too soon, the site needs to look informational, not just for sales, and the site kind of does a burnout if its up too early, but after a while if we have been here, it would be nice to see what works and what doesnt! My site is www.scamfreewealth.com, and I have gotten 15 refferrals in six weeks on Bing PPC, none have converted...but hey theres always tomorrow, and you guys can check my sites out anytime. Have a Great Day! : 0 )

Well done denys, I clicked like on your FB. You've covered a whole lot of internet marketing.

I am still a newbie, but there I understand both sides of the coin with this subject. I haven't made a dime yet, although I have not monetized my site either ;) I think there are some members worried about content "borrowing" and niche "borrowing" and that is why they don't disclose their sites. I think it would be helpful for a mentoring system here or a way to see successful sites so that we could emulate the "styling," etc. Maybe with a non compete contract or something. It will be interesting to see if some of the tenured members here comment on this.

If that's the case, they could choose to discuss earnings and other aspects without divulging their niche or site.

I could not agree with you more. Some members do not even list their website(s). I am like you dh, I like to know if what I am doing is on the right track to making money. I know it takes time and effort, but if any of the members would share their journey to riches, that would be great.

Well put.
