Start Before you ready
Years ago, I was standing at the biggest dance school in Lisbon, I was going to start teaching that day.
My palms were sweaty and I felt nauseous, like I was going to throw up.
You see, I was the first teacher in Portugal to teach Broadway Jazz — there was a reporter there waiting to interview me, it so happens that a producer from Sony Music saw this interview and asked me to choreograph a video clip for Daft Punk.
So even though I had been a professional dancer and choreographer all my life, when I was invited to interview for that choreographer position, the first thought that popped into my mind was, “Nooo! Maybe I cant do this, am I ready??”
But here’s the truth…
You’ll never feel ready if you listen to your fear-based mind.
I made a decision from my heart that I was going to go for it anyway. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity. And let’s face it, I wasn’t getting any younger.
I knew I’d regret it forever if I let fear, insecurity and an apparent lack of readiness hold me back from finally doing something I truly wanted to do.
More important, I knew saying yes would help me GAIN something else I wanted…
A path to speed up my results and grow 10X faster than doing it on my own!
Think about it…
The immersion in that environment would force me to improve my skills and grow as a dancer, choreographer and leader and give me a big projection as a choreographer and a teacher.
So…
I took a deep breath and went through with the interview, sweaty palms and all. And guess what.
I wound up booking the gig.
That ONE decision to say yes to my dream — waaay before I was ready — was the launch point for what became a successful and soul-enlivening career in my dance career as a teacher and a choreographer.
In fact, it’s not an exaggeration to say…
That choice to start before I was ready transformed the entire course of my business and life.
One brave choice meant that I got to dance and help produce and choreograph a popular video clip. I made loads of connections, not to mention boosted my income and my skills.
It gave me the confidence to create my own school after some time, and bring my vision of dance into the world.
The connections I made, the skills and the massive growth I experienced from that one decision changed everything.
And over the years, I’ve continued to use the Start Before You’re Ready strategy and it’s produced incredible results every time.
Now that I’ve had the chance to connect with many accomplished people, I’ve noticed a pattern in them too…
Every successful person I know starts before they feel ready.
It’s one of the biggest secrets to success there is! I bet you have proof of this in your own life, too.
Haven’t some of your best experiences come because you bypassed your “I’m not ready yet,” thoughts and made a brave choice in the direction of your heart’s desire?
My guess is YES…
But here’s the problem. Most people are addicted to putting things off and saying things like maybe next time or next month or next year — on the VERY things that matter most — their biggest life dreams!
I wanted to share this story with you, you might have been saying to yourself “I really want to take a risk, but I’m not ready yet. Maybe next year…”
I invite you to challenge that “I’m not ready yet” strategy.
Because a year from now, you’ll either still be treading water…
Or you’ll be on higher ground, making a better living and expanding your impact, if you take action today.
Online business is the future of this generation, and living your dreams you only get to do that once. Imagine making your dreams come true, on an online business, that you can take with you anywhere you want.
Let today be the day that transforms everything in YOUR business and life.
Because what you’ll find inside this plaform is the most complete, comprehensive program that holds your hand as you build your dream business — every step of the way.
It’s time that you say “YES!” to using your gifts and reaching the goals you’ve been dreaming about for so many years.
No matter what, please remember this: you’ll never feel ready to make the impact you were put on this earth to make.
The real secret to living up to your highest potential is to always start before you’re ready.

Oh brillaint post, very true and well said. I also liken it to a swiiming pool you know you have to get in it, yet walk round the outside of the pool that is, not the building!) 5 or 6 times working out how best to get in, before you finally... Jump
Enjoyed reading it and good luck to you
Hello Denise.
It's beautifully written and it's very true: it's hard and scary to start before you believe you are ready, but "...the best experiences come because you bypassed your 'I’m not ready yet' "
Thank you,
~ Julia
After years of 'not being ready', it has become second nature to just sit back and 'wait' for the right moment. Am I ready for my adventure with WA? I wasn't when I signed up, but here I am. Very inspirational story and thanks for sharing! Much success to you!

I think you were very brave taking that first step, especially when you thought you weren't yet ready, but I'm happy for you since it broadened your horizons beyond your expectations :)
Thank you James, for saying that, nobody tells me I´m brave, that was nice to hear.
It's a shame nobody comments on your brave moves. If I was you in that situation, I would have probably fainted LOL...
