Choosing Articles on Requests for Comments

Hello All,

I had an epiphany recently. Instead of just leaving comments for random sites in the request for comments exchange, I have become selective. Since this decision, leaving comments has become much more enjoyable for me. If I am going to read posts, why not choose to read posts that are relevant and of interest to me. I'm thinking this is a WIN-WIN for me and the person that I am leaving a comment for because I am more interested in the top, probably more knowledgeable, and maybe will even purchase something which I have done.

In addition to choosing articles to comment on, I do post a request for comments and will reciprocate for anyone that does comment for me. This may be a more efficient way to swap comments because it is more of a guarantee that a comment will be exchanged. At the same time, it is not always enjoyable as I end reading about things that aren't always relevant to me. Who knows though. It probably is expanding my mind. :)

I'd love to hear others thoughts on exchanging comments. What works for you? Do you have a strategy?

Thanks,

Denise

Hello Tom,

I'm not sure how you quotes are relevant to choosing what articles to comment on. Can you be more specific?

Thanks,
Denise

Like Phil below I try to comment on a few different subjects because I like to learn about new things. I get what you’re saying however about picking subjects you enjoy the most. By choosing subjects you enjoy usually means you can comment not only thoroughly but a bit quicker too, making you more productive.

Wishing you lots more happy commenting! 😊

I think you have to do what works for you and this sounds and feels like it does. I am the opposite I go for a wide range as I find some of them very challenging but that is a good thing for me personally. Having said that you have to enjoy what you do at the end of the day. Good question thanks Phil
