Overcome Failures, be resilient!
There will be instances that we will experience a lot of failures in our lives. These are what we call adversities. It comes in different forms and sizes. Some are easy to overcome while others are quite challenging and hard to manage. To overcome adversity is to gain resiliency. Resiliency is the ability to bounce back in the face of adversity.
You have the power to overcome your failures by acknowledging your fears. To acknowledge your fear is the first step in overcoming failures. The next step is to know where your fears are originating from. It might be from a deep sense of inadequacy, helplessness, inability, instability, deficiency, rejection etc.
It could be a fear of the unknown. Most of us will experience the latter. This is hard to manage because we don't know its origin. But if we carefully examine ourselves and dig deeper it might have originated in our subconscious minds. Our subconscious mind is the one responsible for the fight or flight response. For example, if there is an impending danger or risk, our subconscious mind will tell our conscious mind to either continue or to stop in whatever we are doing. Most of the time we stop or quit aren't we? But it should not be the case, we need to acknowledge the risk and learn how to fight. We need to be resilient in order to survive.
Resiliency is a unique skill. Anyone can develop this skill by constant practice and by following these simple techniques:
- Find your purpose in life
- Believe in your abilities
- Reach out or ask for help if needed
- Accept change
- Have a positive attitude
- Get enough sleep

Thank you for dropping by. Just to remind us on how to overcome negativity to combat our self-limiting beliefs'.
The only way to go, Forward so never look back. A child learning to walk as not been taught to be negative, have fear, or be a failure. I am going back to my childhood.Tom.
You are absolutely right, Tom. You got my point. If we will dig deeper into our subconscious mind the concept of reasoning began when a child turn 6. This is when they learn how to judge and it is vital that we teach them good things and encourage them to do it as well. In this way, the self-limiting beliefs that were kept hidden in our subconscious mind won't be unleashed. Our outlook will always be positive and always have to look at the brighter side of life :)
