Is There A Fly In The "Inbox Blueprint" Ointment?
Investigating the competition is part of being able to speak authoritatively.
Affilorama, Nichehacks, and Anik Singhal
Affilorama and NicheHacks teamed up with Anik Singhal to present a breathtaking 3-part webinar to "blow you away". The total time of these webinars was 6 hours. That right there raises a red flag and I'll tell you why.
How's $1,791 Grab Ya'?
There are no marketers on God's green earth that are going to invest that kind of time and equipment to bottom line for less than $500. As it turned out in the end, they wanted 3 payments of $597 each!
A Friendly and Excited Shark Will Bite
After priming the pump with the only valuable information in the entire 3 presentations, Anik Singhal spent the rest of the time excitedly talking about how great he is, how qualified he is, and how this shark-bite would be more than reasonable.
Classic Teaser
Classic teaser attached, "I can't let everyone in on this, so some people will have to be turned away", Singhal used elementary audience participation techniques, then, finally, O dear God, FINALLY revealed exactly what the scheme would be.
Leave It To Beaver
Apparently, Mr. Singhal has invested in ateam of writers to library what he claims to be "17,000 unique posts and follow-up sales letters"... (Red flags filling the arena)...
How-to Buy An SEO Disaster
What Mr. Singhal does not tell the audience of people with more money than internet marketing smarts is all those "unique" posts and sales letters will very quickly become a big google frown.
Re-Inventing The Cookie-Cutter
While presented as the genius of a super affiliate, looking to help his fellow marketers, what Mr. Singhal has done is re-invent the wheel. The old cookie-cutter pitch is back. As always, the appeal is to people who want all the work done FOR them.
He'll Freelance, But You All Will Have To Share!
Mr. Singhal also doesn't mention that $1,791 would be better spent hiring freelance writers to write ACTUAL unique posts and sales letters. But, I'm not surprised to see Affilorama and Nichehacks all over this.
He's Not Alone
Affilorama's Mark Ling does the same thing with his latest $197 pitch for a one-website-hosted, complete with his "special affilotheme", and all the follow-up letters pre-written.
Oops
Singhal let it slip, though, that his biggest scores come, not from the pre-set autoresponder sequences that go out to his lists, but, when he blasts to the list with an exciting new offer they haven't heard of before.
A Donut With Multiple Holes
Anyonewith their thinking cap on could put two and two together. Not only will those pre-fab posts and email sequences quickly become redundant repetitions of no SEO worth, but, the buyers won't have the lists built because of it. Even if they did somehow manage to attract some subscribers, they'd have to wait for someone to come along and tell them when and what to blast! So, the biggest moneymaker has been completely left out of the equation... (A future upsell?)
Quality Shmuality
Quality content is not on the table for this crew. They are baiting the gullible with a get-rich-quick strategy. The only reason they don't say to just hand them the money and they'll do everything is because they know that pitch doesn't sell. So, they found a way around it.
The Facts The Deception Is Built Upon
Now, opt-in email marketing is, of course, legitimate. Put up a landing page, bait with a free report or e-book, etc., capture the email, then email the list to buy multiple offerings.
DIY
But, a marketer does not require the services of "Inbox Blueprint" to do that. In fact, all such cookie-cutter variations are doomed to fail, because they're scamming the search engine algorithms. Such obvious scams will not work for very long, if they even work at all.
If You Think Someone Else Is The Hero, You're Not Doing Your Job
Traffic should not be wasted. emails should be captured. Follow-up should be as endless as they are willing to stay subscribed. But, the way you go about it needs to be personalized from you, not some slick "super affiliate" assuming that you will accept he's better than you... Because he's not and you can do better...
