First snow of the year
Not yet Thanksgiving and already the flakes are falling.
Beautiful at the moment. A real designer snow.
My picture was too large to post and am typing this from my phone just so I could upload the photo. Not to the training for that yet.
A run through of my facebook friends and family have varied opinions some too graphic to repost lol.
I of course am loving it. No need to venture out and my laptop is allowing me to work and watch. Just another advantage to the WA life.

The first snow is always beautiful and makes it look really nice. But the roads are not in good shape though. I was out in the snow and the roads were bad and people were sliding at 10 miles per hour so that say it all.

The roads were bad last night and today it is melting away like nothing ever happen. But in other parts of the states, they are still getting snow.

I grew up in Buffalo so I'm very familiar with the beauty of that first snowfall...It's all the others after that for several months that aren't so pretty. Lol. Enjoy it while it's new.

Michigan and I stay away in the winter.
They had the first snow a week or 2 ago.

#1 reason I moved to Florida from South Dakota was to warm my bones on sunny days and not drive, live, and work in the blasted, bone chilling ice and snow. Now, I can look at the beauty of the first snowfall and gloat to my friends and family in the Midwest and North East! They don't find it amusing! :>)

The great thing about snow cover up the ugly ground. Then in the spring, it goes alway un-cover new fresh green again and we feel good inside.
Hello Deborah, when I was younger and into my teens I loved the snow. As I get older it is not as much fun especially with the cold that accompanies it. I do not think your winters in general are not as long as Northern Ontario. It is forecasted that we will have 10 to 15cm falling tonight and into tomorrow.
Something special about that first snow of the season. Being able to work and watch is some thing very unique as well.
We received about an inch of snow this morning. It is the first time we have had any accumulation in November since 1995. Glad I have a home business and office. So I don't have to go outside if I don't want.
I think I was trying to remember when I moved to Marylsnd and a Thsnksgiving snow was the reason I remember it so well.

If only we were to the point of not having to go anywhere when it snows❄️❄️❄️, it would be a lot nicer to see the snow as beautiful. But, alas, we have to go out in it on a regular. It can be beautiful, and I want to be able to look at snow like that again☃, I just want to do it in pictures or on the TV. 😁LOL
