Here's the site: http://onelungrunnergirl.com/

Thanks everyone! You all are so helpful and wonderful! I am so glad to have found this community!

Great WebSite, very interesting, exciting and motivating!

Thank you!

nice one...

Hi DaynaThanks for the follow. All the best with WA. See you in the land of your success.

I think for you Dana, it's only going to get better and better - good job!

I liked the website, I have started running couple of years ago and then stopped - maybe it will motivate me to start running again:)

Thank you! I hope so! I've stuck with it and I'm happy I did :)

Good start Dayna, keep up the good work,I am also into health a different way, I like juicing. Check out my site at getjuicedwithpaul.com and tell what you think. Cheers Paul. :-)

Hey! That's awesome! I actually juice every now and then. I actually have a fancy Breville juicer. I really enjoy it. I absolutely LOVE the way your site is laid out. Really great information!

Hey Dana,

I think it's a great start. I love the design of the website and is a very tightly focused niche. That's awesome!

A few of items of note:

1) You may want to add a picture in your About Me page. You choice, but it does help people connect better with you.
2) Add a Privacy Policy. Google usually won't rank you without it (or negatively).
3) As for Andy's (@OldMule) suggestion about a static page, it used to be taught here to do that but Kyle and Carson have discovered recently that letting the blog roll (default setting) is better for ranking.
4) Since it's a new site, I would keep promotions to a minimum (if any) until you see an upward trend in your ranking. Since most new websites aren't going to rank in the beginning, there's no worrying about losing sales so it's just better to stay off of Google's radar with respect to this.
5) Speaking of ranking, make sure you have your Google Analytics and Webmaster tools implemented so that you can start tracking.
6) Obviously you need more content but that will come over time. Try to shoot for two to three posts per week.
7) Once you see that your rankings are improving then you can start to incorporate your monetization.

Let me know if you have any questions about these items.

Best Regards,
Jim

Thank you so much for your thorough feedback! I appreciate the time you took to review it. The only reason I went ahead and added a page about running gear (promotions) is because I know a lot of time, I am looking for reviews on running gear and looking for suggestions. I felt this would help give people some ideas. This page will change over time. And yes, I definitely need to add a lot more content to it, I realize. I'm just getting started and all the feedback I can get will help me in being successful, so again, Thank you!

Hey Dana,

No problem. That's what we're here for!

The promotional aspect is a personal preference. The one page that you have on your site probably won't hurt. For me, any new websites that I create I like to remove any possibility of Google marking me in a negative way, which promotional material is on that edge with them. Over time (and with more quality content) as a website gains in authority, placing promotions strategically makes sense. That is a big part of why we're doing this, after all!

Best Regards,
Jim

Brilliant Your lung is better than my two, just one thing I had to click the title to get back to the squats page after going through your pages, you might want to put a home page on there and label the squats page as "0" in the page attributes. Well done there will be a lot of visitors to your site :o)

Thank you very much for the feedback! This will help me a lot!

Your website looks good so far! I like the post in "Running Gear." It has a lot of information and also very good visuals. Keep up the good work!

looking good! Great niche. I personally would use a static front page that invites one to go through the rest of the site. I would the have my "Blog" as a menu item and set posts to show there.
My opinion only.
But you are doing great!!

Thank you! That is a really good idea
