Massive Traffic By Staying Topical
Hey everyone,
So a couple of weeks ago the UK voted to leave the EU. It is a massive talking point over here, so I thought "why not try and bring that discussion to my website?".
I wrote an article about Brexit and how it relates to language learning, and I posted it on reddit.
Over the next 2 days I received a massive 1,092 page views.
We all know everyone loves a good debate, so whether you take a side or keep a balanced viewpoint, it's a great way to drive traffic to your site.

I always suspected that such things draw people, Kyle goes into controversial blogging as well.....
Yeah its the hottest topic currently...congratulation for having massive traffic Dave, hope its will benefit you.
I didn't emphasise it in the blog but Reddit is an awesome place for discussion points like my article was - if you put a personal view point across,prepare to get some grief (I certainly did) but the discussion just drove more people to the link!
