Accomplish Your Goals
What goals? How can you Accomplish Your Goals if you don't have any?
After reading so many inspirational posts by the community of WAers. I decided I would invest in myself while doing the dishes. My wife hates doing the dishes, so I try to remember to do them when I see some in the sink (she likes it when I do this).
While doing the dishes, I listened to Jim Rohn. Jim is a motivational speaker, he was a accomplished network marketer turned speaker. He has an interesting way of stating what we should do to improve ourselves.
He said, one of the things his Mentor asked him, "Let me see your list of goals." He was 25 years old and had no goals.
When we joined Wealthy Affiliate, one of the first things Kyle asks use to do is set three goals. Do you remember what they were? https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/getting-started/what-are-you...
- Money I would be happy earning.
- Money I would be estatic earning.
- Time I'm willing to invest to achieve my goals.
Look right under your profile.
A goal does you no good if you don't see it listed some where.
I read goal challanges shared on posts by some community members.
I encourage all of us, me included, to make goals. They should be SMART (type SMART goals in you search engine).
Specific - well defined and clear.
Measurable - specific criteria to measure your progress.
Achievable - not impossible to achieve, makes you strech but not depress you.
Realistic - relevant to your purpose.
Timely - clearly defined timeline. Maybe staged for success.
Sometimes my failures are due to my lack of planning. I put my head down and just go. I look up and I'm not sure where I am.
Where am I going? If I don't set goals to get there? I am lost.
Joes946 would tell us, we need to submit a flight plan or we are just going for a ride in the air.
With the new year coming, 2020. I need to have a clear vision, 20/20, of what I expect from my employee, ME, each day to succeed like never before!
I might have to fire myself and hire someone else!
No, I think it's time to practice what I preach. Set some SMART goals, working toward a better me in 2020.
Please, Share your experiences with setting goals.
What are some of your goals for this next year, 2020?
Where do you post them so you see them daily?
Wishing each of you successful goal setting,
David

Very Good, you sound like you've just moved into the Unstoppable Mode. Keep it up David960.
Spot on, David! And I agree, Jim Rohn was a legend. His wisdom reaches far beyond his life.

Rohn Rocks. Setting SMART goals with my clients has made me a lot of money. Set those SMART goals and put the list in every room in the house and the dashboard of your car.You are ready to have a bust-out 2020. Just do it!
