Depression as a niche?!

The underlying premise of WA is "I want to help people that [insert phrase here]." So, just about anything and everything can be a niche, right?

"How to seduce women."

- Yeah... nah... I know nothing about that!

Depression & anxiety? Yep, I am intimately acquainted with both, you might say.

Thanks to a spot of late-night inspiration in chat - and thanks in part to a previous post in the WA community in regards to niches, including the one I quoted above - I may have found my way out of the darkness.

HOWEVER! Depression, anxiety & mental health in general are super big topics - how do I cover them? Yes, there's my own personal journey which no one else can share, but I'm still dealing with them, I haven't found the magical cure-all. And with over a million members of this community, surely at least one other person has come up with a topic to do with mental health issues?

So now I need a new domain... how I wish it were possible to rename the one I have? Is that even possible? Most likely not... never mind!

Your thoughts & comments would be most welcome & appreciated :)

Hey David, Me again...
Do you already have a niche website having to do with depression? If not, then you will need to have another website for it. If so, then the name of the website only gets a portion of the traffic in. Once you start writing blog posts within your website, you can put your keywords in there as well. Be sure to limit your keywords, if you put too many in, Google will think of it as "keyword stuffing". Just write what you feel and throw a keyword in here and there. Hope this helps.

WA is actually a solution for depression.

It's one way for you to change that feeling of hopelessness into a positive plan of action. One where you envision yourself taking all the steps necessary to deal with your problems.

When your subconscious mind becomes convinced that you are doing exactly what it believes will benefit you the most, it no longer needs to send you those reminders that lead to depressed feelings.

Of course, it's you that does the work but it's WA that gets you started with all the training you need to make those first steps possible.

Or to put that another way is to say, you stop the self-pity and start to trust yourself so that you are certain to transform into a positive and powerful human being.

Pick a freaking niche, and get started with something. Don't take too long to pick a niche because your true calling will be found once you start working on something new.

Eric

"Pick a freaking niche"?! Yeah, thanks Eric!

Yup pick something and stop overthinking things. Your domain doesn't need to be perfect and this niche may not be one you end up sticking with.

A domain is something simple, something easy to remember and something that makes sense. You can make it catchy as well but you just need to find one that available and get going.

I was having a tough time, in the beginning, trying to convince myself what I was working on would be worth doing. It started a self-discovery process and now I can easily write, research, and feel motivated to jump up out of bed each morning.

I was trying to show you how depression is solved by taking action and convincing yourself that it will work. In other words, pick something and get started writing about it. A niche can be your name since you will be telling your story.

Many are those who suffer from depression.

There are also so many types of depression, ranging from mild, to chronic or critical.

I think if you do your research properly, you might just make this work very well for you as there are tons of products to help people suffering from this mental health issue.

Very good post, thanks for sharing

Hi David,
You could look at how exercise and the right nutrition can really help those who suffer from depression and anxiety because they both do have a major effect on our mental health.
I know from personal experience that strength training is a great way to lift yourself 'out of the darkness' and know of many other females that feel the same way.
Google different related phrases and you will find loads of different articles to give you some inspiration, plus they can also help on a personal level.
Wishing you all the best
Emma
