Understanding The Latte Factor

I want to share a concept to help those who really want to upgrade to premium, but "just can't afford it right now". It comes from David Bach. A lot of you know who he is but it's really not important to this post that you do.

I know that this will only be of interest to a few of you, but if that is the case, and one person says, oh yeah, I can do that, then I'll call that a win.

Dave Bach writes about the latte factor. The latte factor in a nutshell claims that if you forego your $5.00 latte every day, in a month you will save $150.00. That's a latte. Without waxing listicle, what are some other items that could be given up or put on hold? Cigarettes, chew, cable TV, soft drinks, candy bars, beer, massage, the list goes on and on.

The point is that you have to save a little less than $2.00 a day to be able to upgrade to premium here at Wealthy Affiliate. What could you do to make two bucks a day? Gather 40 cans and bottles? Mow a lawn? Shovel a sidewalk?

So what are you willing to give up or what are you willing to do to chase your dreams?

Whatever it is, I wish you well.

Hey Dave, thanks a lot for this inspiration. I will join soon. My problem is not the fee. It's time. I am currently busy doing two business courses at once. I know it sounds silly, but I had bought the one before I bought the second one and they were both at a huge discount, so I could not resist. I need to complete the biggest course before December to avoid extension fees. The other one I have to complete ASAP as it will have huge benefits for my business. I will join as soon as I'm done with the short course, which will be in a few weeks. I can't wait, as I am already sold!

It’s definitely about prioritizing your budget and finding a way that works for you. Thanks for the share and have a great weekend, Dave!

Susan

Thanks, Susan. I hope you have a great weekend as well.

Dave

You make some very valid points, Dave! Thank you!

Jeff

It's all about priorities really. You're most welcome, Jeff.

Dave

Yes, indeed, Dave!

Great post, Dave

It does all come down to budget management, no matter how much money we earn!

My wife would not be a happy camper if I messed with the cable TV, so I won't. Lol 😎
I watch very little cable. I mostly Chromecast YouTube (music), the History Channel, and A&E, all for free.

Rock On! 🤘

Hey Frank,

TV is hard to give up. Watching the tube is a comfortable place to be. Personally, I catch a movie on the Fire Stick from time to time.

Doing WA or not is a matter of priorities and belief. I think that if you truly believe in it then nothing will stop you from pursuing it and making it a priority.

Dave

Very true, Dave!

My wife and I watch a lot of movies. However, we prefer Blu-ray or 4K discs because the sound is much better than streamed movies. 😎

I agree; it's a great concept. Indeed, there is always a solution where there is determination. Thank you, Dave! I appreciate your share here.

For sure -- determination and desire are drivers. Belief in oneself is also key.

Thank you, Dave! Have a nice weekend.
