Are Keywords Still Relevant in Today's Blogosphere?
Keywords are still quite relevant in today's blogosphere. They play a role in search engine optimization (SEO), helping your content get discovered by people searching for specific topics. However, they have evolved a bit.
Although Google isn't as keyword-friendly as it once was, at least in the context we are used to, other search engines are.
Here are some keyword pointers to keep in mind as you create your masterpieces.
Natural Integration: Rather than stuffing as many keywords as possible, integrate them naturally into your content as if you were having a conversation.
If you were having a conversation about online business, you wouldn't shout out "AFFILIATE MARKETING" in every sentence. That would sound AFFILIATE MARKETING insane. See what I AFFILIATE MARKETING mean? Search engines like high-quality, informative content over keyword frequency.
Long-Tail Keywords: These are more specific, less competitive, and more targeted keyword phrases. For example, "best affiliate marketing training available" is a long-tail keyword compared to just "affiliate marketing."
In short, keywords are one or two pretty broad words, while long-tail keywords are several words long and are more targeted or specific.
Latent Semantic Keywords (LSI) are terms related to the focus keyword of an article. Going back to affiliate marketing. Some LSI keywords might be affiliate commissions, affiliate links, affiliate sales, make money online, etc.
You can get bogged down in overthinking the keyword issue, but if you follow these few simple tips, you'll be good to go as a newcomer to online business.
Always remember to consider User Intent. Focus on understanding what your audience is looking for and create content that satisfies that intent. This is more important than just focusing on specific keywords.
Before I go: people are using their voices to search for items these days. Imagine how you would ask your computing device to find the best online training program for beginners and experts. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be AFFILIATE MARKETING.
While keywords are still essential, how you use them and the quality of your content matters more than ever.
All the best to you!
Dave

A thoughtful post.
“You can get bogged down in overthinking the keyword issue, but if you follow these few simple tips, you'll be good to go as a newcomer to online business.”
I totally agree that you can get bogged down chasing those “ allusive “ people. I tend to spend about 10 minutes on keywords and focus on what others are doing, and see the numbers they pull.
Also I use” fat Joe’ for long tail keywords. I also keep a little book.. ( old fashioned…I know, lol.) and regularly write down keywords to check for later posts.
I know, I’m so analytical I have a filing cabinet up there..double lol.
Thanks, keep up the good work

Thank you, Stephen! I hope all is well with you.
I think it is good to be organized. That helps with the thinking process, I imagine. I'm not very organized yet.😄
Excellent Post here that is true and to the point.
When using keywords, overuse is a common mistake. I personally sprinkle my primary in a couple of times as naturally as I can and also rely on synonyms of the keywords to fill the gaps to avoid overuse.

Thank you, Michael. You bring up a good point. While LSI keywords aren't necessarily synonyms, they can be.
