Google Analytics:Insights
Google Analytics Insights
If you are an experienced user of Google Analytics, then this post might be teaching you to suck eggs slightly, for that I apologise
However, if you are not an experienced user of Google Analytics, then this post, might prove beneficial for you, just as it did for me this morning.
Because it explains a little, about ...
Google Analytics Insights
Now most mornings, I check my analytics across the various media I use to promote my blog to make sure that I am putting my efforts in the right places, as opposed to hitting and hoping
Tracking online, is absolutely so critical, its not true
Tracking is the difference between 1 Good hour of Advertising and 3 Bad Ones
Which brings me to GA Insights!!!
Because on checking my Google Analytics this morning, I noticed a blue notification sign
On clicking it, it gave me some detailed information 'Insight' into which sites were working better for me. I was considering dropping one of them... But after reading my Insights, I won't be.
Insights is Googles Equivalent of Facebook Insights for Pages, just as an aside : )
The information I got was useful and beneficial and actually tied up with the information I get from my
Analytify Plugin (Analytify in case you don't know is a super useful plugin that sits in your WordPress Dashboard and gives you some detailed GA stats) I have used it for some time and really like it, but then I prefer to have things 'In House' as far as WordPress Iss Concerned.
That aside, I have put more efforts into the two media platforms I am currently using and tweaked my advertising slightly.
By that I mean, I have replaced the main Wealthy Affiliate Page, I was using, with a custom built landing page, made right here in Wealthy Affiliate, but tailored specifically to that platform its one, so that it attracts the people I want, as opposed to the tyre kickers
Incidentally if you don't know how to create a landing page here at Wealthy Affiliate
Shows you how to do just that.
As ever this is posted to be helpful and ideally time saving, as I only try and post when I have something to say or helpful to others to share

Glad I saw this Dave.
I assumed mine were all linked as sites are in both console and analytics but apparently not.
Been trying to find a way to link them but its Google, so nothing is simple. Will have to see if anyone has made a simple easy to follow training.
Thank you for this.
as far as I know Linda, both Analytics and Search console are not linked, not in a way I can see.But thanks for commenting and glad it helped you
I have discovered they can be linked. Its two steps forward and one back but I am getting there slowly.
