Facebook Organic
Now this post, focuses on Facebook and the Organic Traffic, which comes through your page
I know there are a lot of people who provide excellent training on Facebook Pages and this is not knocking any of that training at all, because this post is focusing on the 'organic reach' of our page posts
Because, if you use your page, on a regular basis, as a lot of people do here, you might well have noticed that when your weekly insights chart comes in, that despite the fact that there are well over 1 billion active business users on the platform, your organic reach, is most likely barely reaching double figures
Mine certainly hasn't, and I have a lot of followers on my page, which is combined in with my own Elite Marketing group
You might have wondered why this is happening
Well the simple facf of the matter, is this
Facebook, wants you to pay for your page posts now, and because they want you to do this, arre restricting the organic traffic you are getting to your posts you will also find timely emails encouraging you to 'boost' your post to get more traffic
This is obviously not a new thing, its been happening for a while, even though Facebook denied they were doing so
In light of the Cambridge Analytica fiasco of a few weeks ago, Facebook has now 'opened up slightly' and statedt that 'allegedly' organic posts, don't get as much traffic, for various different reasons, so by paying for the traffic, you will get more reach
This may or may not be the case and it has certainly made a lot of people, who regularly use pages for content, or as blogs, re think their marketing strategy
If you are one of them then the training we get here at WA on PPC and through the Live Webinars on Traffic Generation, is in my honest opinion, a far better strategy than going through Facebook Pages
Looking at my analytics, its very interesting to see that my Google Organic, is growing quite a lot, as is direct referrals to some of my posts, meaning that I shall be using Facebook Pages, far less

I just had mine unpublished by Facebook and not sure why but it doesn't really matter due to almost no traffic from it.
So I will be using my time elsewhere such as Pinterest.
Recently indeed I had received many emails from Facebook stating '' Promote your business to 1000 peoples with just RM21 so you can reach more peoples''! Where RM is MYR my country's currency.
Other than that, in my Facebook page will also receive similar things which asking me to boost the post! What a typical advertising platform nowadays!

I have also discovered that my reach is far lower since their little fiasco. Also my feed now contains more personal feeds rather than from pages I like and assume everyone else’s has changed too.
This means all of our pages are being shown less in everyone’s feeds.

Wendi, I'm glad it helped andwas beneficial, trouble is, absolutely everyone, well everyone outside this community, graviates towards facebook, because they are taught by people who know nothing about marketing to 'just post in groups'... thats tantamount to turning on the tap in your kitchen sink and letting it go straight down the plug hole
What I mean by that is this, you post in a group and everyone posts in the same group, so your post is flushed straight to the bottom : )
Attraction Marketing is a great way forward, we are taught to produce good quality content here, which when we do and follow some of the other excellent training, means by default we become the hunted, not the hunter
Just as an aide, when I tweaked my marketing about 10 years ago, to do just that, I can say that I have attracted 2/3 times more people without using facebook

Great point, Dave. Thanks for sharing. Personally, I've never trusted Facebook. Even my millennial kids see through the deceptive tactics they use. It's not just limiting traffic but also how politics is interfering with the original purpose of Facebook. They deactivated and deleted. Good for them.

I agree with you but PPC advertising is not easy. If not done properly, money gets lost. One thing is sure " House always wins" whether we talk about Casinos or Facebook, Google, Bing etc
Alex PPC is not easy, but I stick with Google+, YouTube and the Strategies mentioned in 7 Btilliant Traffic Strategies, because they work
