Before sending an email out to prospective customers, particularly from an email address from your new website, I would strongly advise you to send the completed item out to o

good warning Dave, I get these from time to time but have no idea how you got one of your own. good luck with finding out.

Great post Dave. I have not come across this warning but it is nice to know.

Thanks.
Lis.

I have seen this message myself on one of the top marketer's (Liz Tomey's) messages, so I knew it was not a fraud message, as I had opted into her list. When you Google the message you received, no one seems to have a clear answer as to how this would be fixed. I would have to agree with Paul Dean, it is better to use a trusted 3rd party service such as Aweber, just to make sure your customers and clients are not scared off by a warning message like that.

Wow. I don't talk to criminals he he

Nice one catching that before you sent it out to others! Keeping this bit of advice in mind. :)

Thanks for the heads up Dave. I have never seen that warning before but do not use hotmail because they are known here in the USA to be very picky. It pays to double check everything we can.

If you send out emails to multiple people from most "personal" email accounts they often get flagged for "spamming" and many will be intercepted and bounced by services such as Barracuda and Spamhaus. It's one of the reasons for using an email service such as AWeber http://www.aweber.com :) Rich.

Thanks rich. I'm just wondering why they sent the warning in the email though. I think it's the only email I've sent from my website and I only sent it to one person, me, at my main email address :)

Constant surprises! I have never seen this warning before, and I get tons of email from solicitors. Sure am thankful you shared this. I will be on the lookout!

Thanks for sharing this with the rest of us!

Wow. Great warning! I can't tell you why, but I can thank you for posting this, as should everyone else who reads it.

Thanks Paul. Btw, I thought I was following you. I am now :)
