Code problems

I'm at a loss. One of the ad codes i entered into my articles keeps poping up at the very top of my article where readers can see the code. I've gone into editor, switch to code view and found the code. Even after deleting it from the text it's still visable in the article for my readers to see. The weird thing is, when I go to edit the text isn't there. I have switched themes, i've deteled the entire thing and rewrote it. I have no idea how to fix this problem but it looks horrible and I've ran out of ideas. Any tips?

Norma, you might put in a ticket to Site Support if you haven't already done so!

Jeff

Thanks. I’ll do that next. Nothing else is working.

I hope they can help, Norma!

Jeff

Have you tried disabling your plugins one by one to see if it goes away with one of them disabled? You might want to turn off SiteSpeed while doing this.

First check that you did update and then refresh the page after deleting the code.

Sorry. lol This is support 101.

yes, and now it's happening on more than just that one article, it's showing up on all my recent posts.

Have you logged out completely and cleared the cache

Other way around: clear cache and then log out completely?

Have you tried turning the machine off for a reboot?

Yes, i've been dealing with this for weeks. I've logged out, shut down my computer cleared my cache, reset my set, changed my site theme, gone back into editor to see if I could find the code again, and when i'm in editor the codes not there but when you view my site from other devices the code is right there at the top of the article.

ok give me the site page where this is happening

I will take a look. If there is nothing I can do you will need to contact site support but let's see if I can figure it out first

https://dashboarddestinations.com/how-to-free-camping/ is the one i noticed it on first but now I'm seeing it on several of my other blog posts.

do you have the plugin "headers and footers"?

no, should I?

It is not nessacary but it makes pasting and deleting code easier. However it will not help with this issue.

The only thing I can see is that the "bad code" is somewhere it should not be and it is obviously not deleted in the "main code".

Where did you place the code in the first place?

Was Site Support able to help?
