Greetings Dan!
Sometimes I struggle trying to find the gremlin in the works, and sometimes I just try to sidestep it.
With that in mind, a thought: try disabling All in One, and installing and activating WordPress SEO by Yoast - another plugin that performs similar duties.
See if the problem persists.

Wondering what you guys do for featured images and how to give a creative commons image a proper attribution?
For a featured image, if attribution is necessary, you could maybe add it in the caption area of the image properties.
It depends on the licence of the image. If you use a royalty free image that is in the public domain (CC BY 0), no attribution is needed. If it has a difference licence then attribution will be required. This link may help: https://wiki.creativecommons.org/wiki/Best_practices_for_attribution
Thank you for the link. I was wondering about attribution to a featured image since you can't give a link or even text on featured image... I have heard you can put it at the bottom of the post or in the footer but could not find any examples.
As long as you credit it somewhere, you should be fine. You can add a caption to the featured image when you upload but not sure if it displays or not. You could just put something like "Featured image by....." and then add your attribution at the end of your post, as you said.
Thanks for your help! I am just curious why I have not noticed on other blogs a attribution somewhere in reference to the featured image... Either way better safe than sorry! If you wouldn't mind checking out my website I would greatly appreciate it! http://fitbodyfromhome.com/
