Engage with Google - It's the best thing you could to do increase your rankings
From what I have gathered since I started at WA is that you have to engage with Google at every turn to improve the rankings of your website. Kyle teaches all the techniques necessary. Follow them exactly and you won't be sorry. Open a Google analytics account, open a google adsense account and put adsense on your site, open a google webmasters account, start a google plus account. Submit your site's XML sitemap to Google on your webmasters account so that google can index your site better. Verify your site to google where ever you can. This all adds to your indexing power within google. THE MORE GOOGLE KNOWS ABOUT YOU AND YOUR WEBSITE THE BETTER RANKINGS YOU WILL GET AND THE GREATER YOUR TRAFFIC WILL BE. Definitely get yourself a gravatar and use it to comment on other sites and also to reply to comments on your sites. I am finding that all of this is working for me. It is not a quick process to improve your ranking but once you crack it, it is a very gratifying process.

So true Darryl, and now it also seems that Bing is becoming a bigger player do the same there.
Great information. I am currently just starting level 3, so I will be happy to see what else there is to learn, using Google analytics now to track my daily page views before getting my ads ensemble account. Have not learned too much about the Google webmasters tool, but I am sure it will be brought up in the lessons somewhere.
I've noticed that I can easily find my blogs on google search via google plus. So if you haven't got Google plus yet...get it, then each time you do a blog copy and paste the permalink to it.
I've seen a few of my globs on page 1 of Google that way
