Simply being a member of Wealthy Affiliate isn't enough.

Paying your monthly membership fee will not make you any money online.

Reading blogs and following members will not make you any money online.

Watching video classes and reading the training tutorials will not make you any money online.

All of those things are just placeholders that we too often use to tell ourselves we're doing something to build our online business.

But we're not.

We read the blogs and watch the training and try out the keyword tool, and we tell ourselves we'll get started later. After we make dinner, after we take care of the kids pulling at our sleeve, after we read our emails or catch up on a TV show we've missed because we've been too busy with our day job and commitments at home to take any time for ourselves.

And another day goes by where we don't make any money online.

You have to do something with your membership.

You have to take action every day with the training, tools, and resources provided here.

In the certification courses, you'll find action steps to complete. Checklists you can mark off are included at the end of each lesson. Most of these are bite-size chunks you could easily complete with a short block of time--even just the five or ten minutes you've got between dishes and diapers, jobs and bedtimes.

Each of those five or ten minute blocks moves you forward. It might be the tiniest of baby steps, but you're further than you were before you did it.

You're closer to making money online.

And it builds up. Your actions build momentum, because you see concrete results.

You buy your domain name. You get Wordpress live. You create your first blog post or content page.

You get excited. You share it with the Wealthy Affiliate community, and they are excited for you. Their support and encouragement helps you take the next step, and you see more results.

You got your first website online.

And you write articles, and submit them. You find programs or services that match the focus of your site, and connect to their affiliate opportunities. You add more content, write more blog posts.

Then you go do the dishes, or head to work, or get the kids from school.

And while you were gone, you made your first sale from your website.

You made money online.

And you can do it again. With another website, in another niche, with another affiliate program.

Take the steps again, and make more money online.

Soon, you'll be home with your family when you want to be, because you're making enough money online to quit your day job.

And you're having a blast, creating websites that make you money while you're hanging out with your kids, enjoying time with friends, experiencing new places on vacations.

It isn't going to be perfect at first.

You'll have to learn things as you go, refine your websites, adjust how you blog, hit a few bumps in your keyword research.

But it doesn't have to be perfect.

It does need to be present.

It has to be online. No one can buy what you're offering them if you don't put up a website.

No one will know you're offering anything if you don't write articles and posts that tell them about it, and direct them to your website.

Your grammar doesn't have to be 100%. As long as you offer quality, relevant content, people who need what you're offering will still check out your site, even if you have a few spelling errors or autocorrect-style flubs.

You don't have to have the perfect formatting, or the exact amount of white space on your page. You can learn to be better about that while you're making money with what you've already put online.

But you have to take action every day towards that end.

Real action, that moves you forward, not just prepares you to move forward when you've learned everything you think you need to know.

So go out today and do it.

Research a niche. Buy a domain. Install and setup Wordpress. Write your first blog, either at Wealthy Affiliate, or on your website. Write and article and submit it.
