I am a little frustrated.

So today, after about 3 months of joining WA I finished level 3. Is it really possible in this short amount of time to get enough traffic to a site to get accepted by adsense? And nowhere they mention that you get excluded from amazon associates if you don`t make valid sales during the first 180 days. Half a year may seem like a lot of time but on the other hand so many successful affiliate marketers tell you that it takes one to two years to get to a point where it really starts working! How does that all fit together? I hope level 4 teaches a little more on how to get traffic to, and I for my part am going to wait with both amazon and adsense until my site really shows massive traffic. So far, the training is valuable because it brings structure into the whole process.

It would be great to hear from other WA members Who just got started with their sites.. Were you able to generate much traffic and high ranking this fast? And were you approved to google adsense?

I am working hard and I hope it will pay off soon! Good luck to everybody!

Great job!

Some niche's convert faster than others. That's why some perform better than other niches. Traffic is based upon competition, I agree with everyone else about the level where you need to add these into your website but i believe the idea is to write and write and write content which drives traffic. There is a lot to learn, and learn this now will help later on.
See what your competition is writing about or posting. Let what they are doing help guide you with generating traffic which will help you drive sales toward your website.

Great work on the training so far. Don't get down on yourself it will happen soon enough. I have been working my butt off and my results are slim to none. I have had enough sales with Amazon but by one and I didn't think I would have any. It will happen just keep with the training and adding content.

Thanks for sharing, i wish you all the best luck for further success!

Your welcome and thank you.

I started my site In may 2019. I went through the WA training probably a little too quick, as I was working most days on my site and the training. I applied for adsense and Amazon Affiliate program as soon as the training told me to. However like you say, it was a little too early. All that happened was that adsense kept my application and kept checking my site and when I had enough traffic I got an email to congratulate me that I was now accepted (I think it was two months later).

Amazon accepted me immediately, although it was stressful worrying that I would not make the required sales in the time. However I made it in plenty of time and was incredibly relieved that they also approved my site for disclosures and content etc and now I am making regular sales.

The training does take you through building traffic through social media etc, and I agree that the affiliating and adsense bit does come a little early. So my advice get some good quality content on and some traffic visiting and then affiliate. Once you affiliate I would recommend writing as many reviews and best of's as you can, to get the traffic and sales to meet the amazon deadline.

Hope that helps, but if you have any other questions please feel free to ask : )

Much Love Sara

Hey Sara,
thanks for sharing your personal experience, I really appreciate it! And I must say you have to be so proud of yourself! What you did in such short amount of time is incredible. May I ask what your niche is?

Hi - yes, you are quite right. It is too early in the training to suggest joining Amazon and Google AdSense.

As you say, Amazon requires 3 sales in 180 days which is not easy unless you have traffic. You can reapply immediately, but you will be given a new ID and will have to swap over all your affiliate links.

Google AdSense expects to see daily traffic and a minimum of 20 to 30 posts.
