Ranking
I'm quite happy with how my articles are being ranked. Most of them are around page 2-4 and I have seen a shift up the ladder about 1-3 places (I've used Jaaxy's site rank tool). I'm updating every other day, thought sometimes it's tough because the initial over-excitement has faded and sometimes doubt creeps in the back of my mind.
I'm promoting on social media (G+, Facebook, Tumblr) but there is no engagement happening (except the few comments I received from fellow WA members), even though I encourage people to leave a comment on every article. That's disappointing but I think it's still too early. Or there might never be engagement and no permanent audience, who knows.

I have felt some of the same things you are feeling. One thing that has really been frustrating for me is having time. I work full time, drive an hour to and from work, so by the time I get home, I am spent! That does not make for great creativity or motivation to work on my website , and I know I have to keep that up each day. Plus I am still trying to get through the training and not near as far as I feel I should be!
I get you, I sometimes don't want to write anything after a busy day with my full time job. :)
I think it's normal to have doubts here and there; it's human nature. But, that's what we're all here for, to offer support during those fleeting moments.
It's ok that you're only seeing comments from us, so far; those comments will help your posts to continue climbing up the ranks where more and more outside readers will take notice.
Remember, success here is a cumulative thing! Keep up the good work!
Congrats on your rankings keep going and dont stop till you conquer #1, even then don't stop :)
Some topics are less comment orientated. If you have a keyword which somebody wants to buy something, they will go off and buy it after leaving your page. While some topics engage the audience more then just wanting to buy a toaster etc.
Thank you very much, Josh! I don't intend to stop, I'm a stubborn woman :)
I get where you are coming from. I haven't had really much luck with affiliate links, just a few clicks here and there. But the site is still new so it will take time. :)

Hello there!
I feel and understand what you guys mean. There's always that doubt on the back of my head also where I'm thinking is this really working out or not. What I'm actually doing now is getting really involved in my niche by going to the events myself to an extent so I can write it up as content and hopefully get the people involved in it engaged on my website a bit more instead of just viewing it then leaving. As a matter of fact, I'm at work right now and whn I get off at 7pm I'll be heading to a meet which is about 30-45 minute drive from me depending on traffic and not knowing what to expect when I get there.
I'm also promoting on social media, mainly instagram and it makes me happy to see people and businesses following me, so far i have 9! But I understand and know how you feel.
Just don't give up and keep doing what you do. Always find a way to keep your motivation up and remember, with perseverance comes great rewards. I love your site by the way and left you a comment. I love your header image.
Regards,
Thomas
