When Life Gets In The Way - What Are Your Road Blocks?
Last couple days life has been so busy but just wanted to let everyone here know that of course I'm still here.
Nothing serious going on just life things. My grandson is a Ukrainian Dancer and he had competitions all weekend so that took lots of time.
Then Monday we ended up having company. Tuesday took grandson to dance practice and that kind of took up most of my night.
Tonight it was grocery night so there went three hours after work. I really need to take care of my time for a few more days because my schedule looks even busier.
Oh ya forgot to mention my day job has been 10 hour days.
Oh well, I'm not discouraged just checking in with my Wealthy Affiliate peeps.
On average, I still get in about 2.5 hours of my affiliate marketing. Believe me though when I can get more I take advantage of it.
How many hours a day do you get to work on your business? What roadblocks do you seem to encounter? Just a friendly poll.

Good Morning Dale,
In 1986 I stopped working as a tourist guide. Then I started working really hard on my farm. By the end of 2013 I got a computer and for 2 years I am with WA.
Before breakfast, I have at least 1 hour and by 15.00, lunchtime with Spanish news the computer goes on and normally is shut off only when going to bed.
My better half has complained it is too much and I have put on weight.

I feel your pain! We only allow one sport, one club, and one lesson per child but with four kids at home yet, that's a lot of running. Plus working full-time. I am exhausted right now. We didn't even eat supper until 7:30pm tonight. Which, of course, means that I got the kids to bed late tonight. I almost thought of just going to bed myself but then I remembered my 21-day challenge of writing something on WA every day. And, now that I am here, reading and writing, my energy level has gone up! I had decided to commit to two hours of working on my business every night after the kids go to bed. However, I find that once I start, it's hard to stop. I've been putting in anywhere from three to four hours a night instead. That means that I'm not getting to bed until about 1am. I may have to start forcing myself to go to bed or starting this business may be the death of me. At least I'm having fun while doing it though. :)
I used to stay up until at least 2 am every night but unfortunately as I get older I just cant do that anymore. My latest now is midnight
Good Morning Katie,
That sounds like a lot to me. Take care not to burn the candle on both sides.

I can usually spend quite a bit of time on it. However, I always have a long ‘to do’ list. I never seem to make much headway with the to do list as new items get added all the time. This is usually because either I’ve learned more, so more things to do or I need to learn more. Bit of a viscous cycle really..... wonder of it ever ends?
Thats a very good point. While I am having a blast doing and learning some days it feels like one step forward and two back.

I'm in a similar boat, Dale. Full time job in the evening, bringing a kid to school in the morning, then go home and baby-sit the little one during the day.
On weekdays I am averaging 1 to 1.5 hours working on my business, weekends maybe 4 to 6 hours. Hopefully I will be able to squeeze more time once the little on goes to a child care center in a few months.
I definitely don't like it when life gets in the way. But instead of spending my energy complaining about the situation, I learned to shift my focus on the positive things, and do whatever I can do, after some time I actually get more done.
Do you have any good idea on how to utilize pieces of time better and get more done?
